But for the money and easy setup front doorbell and camera in the backyard for $100 plus $10 subscription covers everything thanks

Also has a 30 day free trial of the premium plan. It can be used for free but the premium subscription offers great security and peace of mind. Would recommend this

However I got another from BB for using in a different area which has WiFi authentication through browser like airport and it didn’t work and I had to return!

You can't access or arm your cameras locally through a web browser for "security" purposes. Easily one the worst system I could have picked when I was looking for a camera.

The Blink system is designed to be managed through the Blink app for security purposes, as it uses encrypted connections between your devices and the cloud to protect your footage and account access. While web browser access is not currently available, the Blink app provides full control over arming and disarming cameras, viewing live feeds, managing motion detection settings, and accessing recorded clips from your mobile device.
Regarding saving recordings without a subscription, there is a local storage alternative. The Blink Sync Module 2 supports a USB flash drive of up to 256 GB that allows you to save motion clips locally without a cloud subscription. This gives you the ability to store and access your recordings directly on the USB drive through the Blink app without paying a monthly fee. If you already have a Sync Module 2, simply insert a compatible USB drive and enable local storage in the app under Sync Module settings.
