Never even tested the camera since I couldn't get beyond the frustration involved with trying to attach the cam to the mount. It was on sale for a great price but ended up not being worth the time and trouble because of the mount.

Have to reset the module daily in order for the system to work. Useless without plan so i purchased most comprehensive one. Not an issue with my internet. Have no problems with ring. Customer service isnt all that helpful either. They just say to reset module or router but shouldn't have to do that every day. Warranty doesn’t do anything. Customer service wants to pass me back to best buy for a return but its been since August of 2025

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Blink Outdoor 4 system. I'm truly sorry to hear you've been dealing with these persistent connectivity issues that require daily module resets - that's absolutely not the reliable experience you should expect from a security camera system.
You're right that video quality shouldn't matter if the system isn't functioning consistently. Having to reset the Sync Module daily just to maintain basic operation is unacceptable, especially when you've invested in a comprehensive subscription plan and the issue clearly isn't related to your internet connection (as evidenced by your Ring system working without problems).
I understand you purchased this system back in August 2024, which puts you well outside Best Buy's return window. However, this sounds like a hardware defect with the Sync Module Core that should be covered under warranty. While I know you've mentioned that customer service hasn't been as helpful as needed and warranty support has been frustrating.
Please contact our support team at 1-888-280-4331 about a warranty replacement for a defective Sync Module Core. Your system should not require daily intervention to function, and we need to get you a properly working unit.
