You've identified an important limitation – the Blink Outdoor 4's passive infrared (PIR) motion sensors are designed to detect heat signatures from moving objects, and unfortunately, they cannot detect motion through glass. This is a common limitation with PIR-based security cameras, as the glass blocks the infrared signals the sensors rely on.

For indoor use behind windows, you might want to consider:

Repositioning the cameras to face inward rather than through the glass
Using a camera specifically designed for window placement that uses pixel-based motion detection instead of PIR sensors
