Design looks nice but was really ineffective compared to other models. We would come home to see the power drained and sitting on the middle of the room.

The robot hardly ever finished a cleaning. The bumper was constantly getting stuck in. After a software update it would sometimes just spin in place for about a minute. One time it made many passes on the same pattern. It went from spot A to spot B to spot C, then back to B and A. Then it repeated the whole pattern over again. I submitted a service ticket, and they were willing to help, but it took a bit of time between each response. I finally gave up and returned the vacuum.

Unlike the previous Roomba, bOb seems to find the walls and then goes back and forth in parallel paths to clean. One time when I was fixing a kitchen sink and sitting on the floor, it would run into me. After several tries, it would head off and clean somewhere else. After a few minutes, it would return and try again.

I got this for my grandma for mother's day. She is so amazed at how well this picks up the dog hair around the house. She has complained that Roomba is overrated for years and is overjoyed to find a robot vacuum that actually works. Definitely happy I could help her clean her house even when I'm around.

I got this vacuum on a deal of the day for $199 and still returned it. It frequently got stuck on the carpet and in corners in general. The beater bars got clogged up with only a small amount of hair and required cleaning multiple times per run. In comparison, I also have a Roomba 960 and this $899 retail for this one hardly compares. Save yourself time and don’t buy this one at any price. Get a Roomba instead.

improved battery life and a return to charging station would help this issue, not just dying randomly somewhere

I was so excited to receive this vacuum, but it has failed miserably. I have hardwood floors and he just goes back and forth a couple of times, and then dies in the middle of the floor. This was a huge waste of money. Don't buy this!

initially it worked very fine... but only after two days, it malfunctioned - the brushes stopped turning. Had to get it returned...

Gets stuck on the carper and couches sometimes and does not map the areas

Love how i just turn it on and it gets every nook and cranny. Has a sleek and futuristic look. And when i had my battery go out customer service was very helpfull in getting me another one free of charge.

Great! I love my bob so much I bought one for my sister and a friend as Christmas gifts when they were on sale. Got them for about $200 each and it is well worth it. Would not pay several hundred more for it though.

I purchased this item with high hopes after reading the reviews. Sadly, I was let down. This vacuum would not dock to recharge. I read though The manual and quick start guide with no solution. My hunch is these units came with defective charge ports. Also the Best Buy rep stated she noticed multiple people retuning these vacuums for similar reasons. This can’t be an isolated case.

we bought this after installing vinyl floors. it works great except when i gets trapped under the couch, or on a loose cord, but that is our fault, i think it works great and was a good value when on sale.

Returned… never got to see used. It was for a Christmas gift but arrived too late.

Great price and product. Replaced an older competitor’s brand. Very satisfied with my purchase. Miss the control towers that block device access to rooms. Not available on this model.
