This phone is extremely cheap. If all you do with your cell phone is make phone calls once in a blue moon or just in case of emergency then this will work. This is a no thrills phone!!!

Cheap phone. Sluggish. I compared it with Moto E. For a little more, I'd recommend the Moto E.

In the description I couldnt see that it was cdma. ( it also didnt say it was gsm). Now that I got it, it appeared to be cdma. I'm not living in the usa and my country doesnt support cdma. So this phone is worthless to me. It would cost me more money to send it back and get it replaced so it's now a pretty expensive paperweight

This phone, being a $40 phone at the time I purchased it, far exceeded my expectations, having spent hundreds of dollars on phones for my entire life. It has surprisingly good build quality, and it's fast for what it is. This is good at being a basic smart phone, but I would be very hesitant to install anything but the basic essentials on it. This is both because having much at all running in the background decreases performance drastically, and because having the same things running can quickly erode the limited data you get from boost. It's great for what I need it for; a cheap and basic second phone number.

I don't know what was boosts problem. they had some issues with the verification network for my boost cards that I got with the phone. I pretty much had to use every method to activate the phone. Usually Boost answers the phone but today of all days I kept going around in circles. The phone is very sturdy and even with no bars i can make calls. Definitely better than the HTC phone I got from Sprint. ZTE makes good phones and I figured my choice of this phone would be a good one. I would have Bestbuy or whomever you purchase it from do the programming for you, unless you want to pull out your hair but the phone is worth it for 40 bucks and its not a cheap design like the HTC Desire 510 which doesn't even have a flash and has that annoying HTC Sense stuff that distracts you. I had a ZTE Concord 2 from Metro PCS and I would say like that phone, this one is is just as good. And you can always return it if you don't like it, but I have purchased a lot of phones and I give this phone good marks. It just does not have a removable battery, but same as iPhones which i have for work. Good luck.. and you can't beat 35 dollars per month which includes 2.5 Gigs of high speed Data, and make the store do the programming for you, save you the hassle unless you are the daring type.. : )
