Great Bose quality you expect. However, for me, this did not help me sleep. I wear foam earplugs…much more comfortable. The sounds, while interesting, didn’t help me sleep.

This is a excellent product. The second generation of the sleepbuds BOSE, is much better in design. Now I fall asleep more quickly and completely relaxed. Before using this product it took me a long time to fall asleep.

I was so excited to buy these and read review upon review before buying them. Unfortunately they are super uncomfortable and make the insides of my ears hurt. Not worth $250 I paid for them :-(

This works as advertised. Sleep so much better. Battery could last a little longer but overall love these. Perfect for the light sleeper!!

They really do work and I definitely would have kept them if they didn’t make my ears throb by morning. I am a side sleeper so maybe they would be better for someone who doesn’t sleep on their side. Other than that they were awesome. I really wish I could have kept them.

Purchased these for my wife to combat my snoring. Ambient noise works great. Both of us sleep better since there’s no need to poke me to turn over several times a night.

Bose unfortunately don’t stand behind their products, this is the third time I’ve had to purchase these earbuds - after 12 months they start to fail and Bose will tell you that you are out of warranty. Unfortunately I have to use them as I have tinnitus and it allows me to sleep with the white noise.

I really wanted these buds to work, but unfortunately they did not and here is why. To start with build quality is fantastic as expected for this price point. The design concept is good but the execution is bit lacking when it comes to comfort and the app user interface. If you sleep on your back, these might work but if you are a side sleeper, these most likely will hurt your ears. Every night that I used them I would end up taking them off after a couple of hours due to my ears hurting quite a bit. I tried multiple tip sizes and it made no difference. The audio quality is also not the best, therefore the limit on sounds you can play. Considering their cost, I would say that these are overpriced for what they are.

Expensive but worth it. Read the bad reviews on the original product so I waited for the 2nd edition. Works great. Around 10 hrs of battery life. Case is able to provide one charge.

I just love these. They fit perfectly and do not fall out. I just wish there was more of a selection of things to listen to.

Love these... had the og’s but the batteries didn’t last. Bose refunded me the money last year so I came back for the II. I will know in 6 months about the battery, but will to try.

Works perfectly! During my season I need to get adequate sleep and this helps me sleep soundly and no noise interruption!

Although the packaging is nice and the buds are comfortable, the audio quality is poor and you can only play a limited selection of sounds from the app - you can't stream audio from other apps. These might be worth the price at $60 as a novelty, but $200+ is absurd. I returned them.

A reminder that these are not earbuds - they do not play music from your mobile device. These are incredibly comfortable ear inserts from Bose that can mask ambient noises and can provide soothing sounds from their library. They are designed to assist your sleep in distracting environments. And when I say they are comfortable, I mean that you become unaware of them after about 15 seconds. Their physical design might have had subtle improvements, but their comfort was obviously at the forefront of their design from the beginning. These are designed so that you can sleep with them - you can do that without distraction and without any fear that they might fall out of your ear. For me, the noise cancelling effect is the selling point, but the Bose application (yes, there is always an application) gives you access to a library of relaxing soundscapes - EXTREMELY clear and quiet sounds designed to soothe and pacify the user. It is difficult to describe Bose's library of sounds because there is nothing I know of that I can compare the sounds to - quiet and crystal clear, engaging and immediately soothing, and looping but not immediately recognizable. Their library of sounds is developed to give you a peaceful sound environment where you can sleep soundly - these are SLEEPbuds. As in their initial release, their charging container can charge the buds again when it has, itself, been fully charged. This is a VERY niche product - designed for people who are plagued by sleep problems in noisy environments (and, I think more importantly, for people who are overwhelmed by airplane noise when travelling - though our current pestilence might make that less common right now). But Bose, once again, gets this crazy niche product exactly right. Most people can't imagine why you might need earbuds that don't play your music for you - this is a very different beast and it is designed to address a specific need that you might not have considered - and it addresses that need exceptionally well. This is not a device for everybody - but it is the perfect device for some people.
