I can't praise these sleepbuds enough. I bought them to mask my husband's snoring, and they do! I mean, if there is an extremely high-volume snort or something, I'll hear that once or twice a night, but his loud general breathing snore sounds are completely masked. I have previously tried all sorts of earplugs, wax, foam, etc. Those never silenced the snoring. Additionally, as a side sleeper these buds are extremely comfortable, which was my main worry in buying them. As a petite woman, I figured I would use the smallest size, but I tried the medium that was already on the buds and they fit fine. I traveled with the sleepbuds and hotel noise was a non-issue. Amazing! I saw some reviews criticizing the sound library, some saying there was looping in the sounds. I am very sensitive to hearing looping in white noise tracks, and I can't detect any. Well worth the $$$.

not great for side sleepers, but more importantly... case just stopped charging after a few years of minimal use, and from what i can gather from other folks in the questions... Bose has no plan for allowing us to get a new case or a plan forward other than buying new ones. Ick - I will not be giving Bose any more money going forward.

I have always had trouble sleeping because of how busy my college classes and work has me. And nothing I tried seemed to help with my problem. But these Sleepbuds have been the best blessing!!! They have eliminated any and all issues that I had getting to sleep! This thing is great with noise canceling & the sounds are SO soothing. The Bose Sleepbuds II, have greatly improved my quality of sleep by masking the noise of my spouses erratic breathing and snoring. I would go as far to say that if not for these Sleepbuds, I would have been forced into a separate bedroom. The Sleepbuds are comfortable and fit securely in both ears and stay there. I highly recommend these for anyone having trouble overcoming annoying noise while attempting to sleep.

Earbuds work fine but with light use twice a week and no travel, the case broke and stopped taking a charge about three months past warranty. I know they had problems before and that things break sometime but the terrible follow-up when something that should break breaks just past warranty: -There is no way to puchase a new case when the earbuds are fine. -The earbuds are thus rendered useless. -After going through the process with bose, they magnanimously offer you a special deal to sell you refurbished sleepbudsii at $185. -When I checked, if you just check refurbished straightaway the price is $179. So while it's only $6 more, their solution is to sell you a refurb for more than they normally sell refurb'd sleepbuds ii. This is really poor form for a product that was well taken care of and used on average twice a week. There are so many better solutions. Sell me a case. Offer to fix the case--I'll pay for it. Or just fix/replace a product that shouldn't have broken. But don't offer me a "special deal" for refurb'd product that is more expensive than the standard refurb price. Poor form. In terms of the product itself, the positive: earbuds are comfortable. For me they are easy to sleep with but fall out occasionally. I understand why but it's too bad, you can't upload your own tracks for sleep. There is a decent selection but wish they would continue to develop their selection. To my ears, some of the sounds of water and rain are overly articulated in a way that doesn't promote sleep.

This project is amazing! I was surprised how quickly it made me fall asleep. As a busy college student, this product is great for helping me get a good sleep at night! I am so very happy! Woke up this morning feeling alert and refreshed. Didn’t realize how much my husbands snoring had been interrupting my sleep. I had tried several other tricks as well as ear plugs. The next step would be to sleep in different rooms :(. I had them in all night and was never bothered by them. It’s too bad they are as expensive as they are but it’s worth it to get sleep.

I had forgotten what apartment living was like having not lived in one for decades. After a herd of elephants moved in above me I had to do something… Skeptical but figured I could take them back if they didn’t work. For $250 they BETTER work. Well they do. After a month, it is now odd to go to bed without them. I hear nothing and wonder if I would hear the fire alarm or smoke detector if it went off…., hope so. I sleep on my side and have had no discomfort. Warm static seems to be the best masking sound for me. I set it to shut off the masking after 2 hours when I don’t need it. Some have said they are distracted by the sound of their blood pumping. That is true for me too but only if alcohol is involved which raises my heartbeat and blood pressure. The only improvement I would like to see (hear) would be the alarm fade in slowly over 60 seconds instead of just coming ON. Otherwise, they work for me and I am glad to have them. Expensive, but worth it to get a good nights sleep.

These Sleepbuds are life-changing! I purchased them before embarking on a vacation with a snoring husband, and every night I slept blissfully unaware of the noises on the other side of the bed. These really work! Although the price is rather steep, this purchase is well worth it.

One of the big reasons why I knew my husband was the one for me was that he didnt snore. Well, after 13 quiet years he started snoring about 6 years ago (odd because he hadn’t gained weight). At first, he’d stop once he rolled to the side but that only lasted a short time. It got so bad that I would have to move to the guest room in the middle of the night. I tried all types of earplugs with no relief until I stumbled upon the 1st generation of these Sleepbuds. I happily doled out $250 since they were a Bose product. Hands down, it was one of the best purchases ever. After a year or so the first gen buds started to malfunction so Bose replaced my set quickly and free of charge. Quite a few of these buds were having issues so Bose voluntarily took them off the market until they could fix the issues. I’m thrilled to see that they are available again! TMI-My hubs had a sleep study and obtained a CPAP machine. I had a toddler tantrum from lack of sleep while on vacation (during the period when i was waiting for my replacement buds) so he finally gave in.

I have to sleep at full volume to block out my boyfriends snores and it works most of the time. Sometimes they do get irritating in my ears after wearing all night, and I’ve had them for 3 months. Also the alarm sound options are TERRIBLE. only 4 to choose from, they all suck, and the alarm usually goes off in one ear before the other so it makes crazy sounds. I would still recommend these to people who have snoring partners.

These are a lifesaver! Allows me to sleep with young baby in upstairs apartment teething and crying through the night.

These earbuds are a game-changer when I am going to bed. They're so small so I do not feel them in my ears as I fall asleep. One thing that might be a turn-off for others but that I enjoy is the fact that they do not run on other social media apps or music apps. I bought these to muffle the sound of my husband’s snoring, which they do beautifully. But what I didn’t expect was how the white noise would shut down the busy little voice in my brain that always kicked in when I try to sleep - these drown that out too! I’m sleeping better than I have since before I had kids

Work well but the case needs to be plugged in almost daily to ensure the ear buds are charged when you want to use them. The ear buds and case will be completely discharged (no power) if you leave the case unplugged for 3 days even without using the ear buds. Other ear buds I own do not drain the batteries when not being used.

Was super disappointed when I found out you can only use these buds while using the Bose App! The audio is poor, and you can only listen to a limited selection of sounds from the app. Nothing else!! I thought I could connect them to my phone and listen to music or a podcast as I slept. But no! And for the price of nearly $300 that they ask for, it's totally ridiculous!! I was so disappointed!! They could have been be a great product if I could have listened to whatever I wanted to. I read somewhere online that Bose purposefully made the buds this way, which I think is pretty dumb. The only good thing I have to say about these buds is that they felt very comfortably in my ears when I laid my head on the pillow. Literally felt as if they were not even there. But in the end, I had to return them. Definitely not worth it!
