It is terrific. My only concern is with cleaning solution and the long term effects, but love the shave

I've used a Braun Series 5 razor for over a decade, and it is fantastic. I have been drooling over the upgrade to the Series 7 for a few years now, but could never justify the cost. When I found it on sale for only slightly more than a new Series 5, I had to go for it. Now it has been a few months, and I have to say that the shave is nowhere near as close as the Series 5 and definitely is not good enough to justify the substantial cost increase, unless you can find it on sale.

I have the series 9 as well and there is really no comparison. However if it is this Shaver or another brand, get this one. Still far ahead of the competition.

Bought for my son's first razor. Very easy to use and clean. He, unlike his father likes shaving and it is probably due to this razor.

Overall its a great electric shaver. I was getting ingrown hairs and havent had one since using the braun.

This is my first foil shaver, this is a excellent shaver. Never had s close shave before.

Really good machine. It comes with a cleaning/charging station what make maintenance a breeze. It also comes with a carring case for the shaver and the wall plug can be removed from the station and be used directly to shaver. Really nice if your traveling. Cleaning is very simple. Just dock the shaver, it will analyze the shaver and select the cleaning level, then press the button. To me the cleaning mode is a little loud but not too crazy. Cleaning does take some time and will stop and start a few times. Usually take about 5 minuets. The shave is the best I have had with an electric shave. I know that the unit is water proof and you can shave in the shower. I only dry shave so I don't know how big of a difference it is. From what I know all the 7 series have the same shaver but differ in battery life, quick clean feature, and docking station. I would diffidently recommend the 7 series with a cleaning dock. It shaves my beard and neck area great and the shaver is not loud at all.
