I don't know if it was damaged or not but it did not work properly and it barely cut the hairs.

This shaver does not provide a close shave at all. After attempting to achieve a shave even close the the level of performance of the Gillette Fusion Proglide Power, I was left disappointed. I attempted to go over the same spot multiple times, but the Braun was unable to shave closely. Do not buy this razor if you are looking for a close shave.

Bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it! Said it shaves almost as close as a blade with little to no irritation. Loves the fact that it automatically cleans itself after he's done and leaves it smelling fresh and ready for the next shave. Would highly recommend!

My old wahl standby broke and I decided to take a chance with something new. I have had razor bumps in the past, so I don't want a super close shave so that I can avoid ingrow hairs. I googled for the best type of razor for my situation and this one kept coming up in the top two or three options. I noticed that it had three settings for closeness of shave, so I set it at the least close. I was a bit nervous after the first shave because it felt like very close shave to me so I couldn't imagine what the other two settings were like. I have been using it daily for a little over a week now without any problems. It is a lot more expensive than I have ever paid for a razor before, but if I get 3 or 4 years use out of it then it will be well worth it. The only question that remains is the total cost of ownership as I pay for replacement foid cutters and the clean and renew cleaning system. I am hoping that those to factors will give me the feeling of a brand new razor for as long as I own it.

A great razor, close shave, fast recharge time, 60 min battery life, cheap replacement parts & no razor burn. I'm in the military and we have very exacting shave standards, this razor exceeds any military standard. The trimmer is adequately powered and functions well. A quality product that will last...my last Braun razor lasted 8 years and survived Iraq & Afghanistan.

the shaver does not cut my face hair so i ended up returning it i would not recommend it

I have sensitive skin thus, normal blade to face/traditional razors are a no go for me. When I was 19 I bought my first Braun 7 Series and it's hardly holding in there now, but it still works 8 or 9 years later! Only problem is the battery wont charge any longer so its pretty worn and not very powerful now days. Sooo, I finally decided to buy another razor. Last year tried a Norelco rotary razor, returned the SAME DAY ha, ha. It pulls hairs and rough on my face. Then last week I saw the Braun 7 - 790cc was on sale for $150.00 and I ran out to Bestbuy, stood in that twrrible Thanksgiving checkout line and saved a ton of money. Now, regardless of the sale, ai would have still made the purchase; I just couldn't risk not being able to shave for work ha, ha. This razor is well worth th3 money especially if you have the thing for 8 years as I did. Do the math, I saved money in the long run. I normally don't write reviews but these are expensive itemw and if i can help, then so be it. :)

Best / closest shave ever! Easy to use, very, very good shaving experience.

Excellent shaver - didn't expect so close shave. Self cleaning setup is easy and display makes is easy to know if and when you need to clean it and recharge it. It is very nice for travel too. Just pick up the shaver from the base, put in the travel package and off you go. Would make it easy going on a trip for 2-3 of weeks. No need to bring anything else - not even the cord. Very nice.

The shaver is flawless. Gives a smooth shave every time, a pleasure to use. I'd previously used a Series 7 without the Clean & Renew system, just rinsing it with tap water and lubricating it weekly. The only reason I bought this one is because an airline lost mine! Now using the C&R system, it seems like I'm using a new shaver every day - shiny and with a pleasant fragrance. After 3 weeks of use, the cleaning cartridge is still sensed as "full," and I'm wondering how long it will actually last, for sure longer than 1 month.

I have owned many different brands of electric razors and this one is by far the best. Nice close shave. I also like the cleaning system.

Maybe it's just me, but I've always had issues with electric shaves and took a chance with this one. I've got to say, this is so far the best. It gives me a close shave, no bumps and easy to clean!.. Charges very fast. and self cleaning. I still clean it out before putting it into the self cleaner, which helps prolong the solution...

This the best overall electric shaver, it gave me a smooth and close shave with no irritation. I've used the panasonic arc 5 and it's a very good shaver that also gives a close shave and probably also saves you couple minutes compare to the braun but not by much and the braun is easier to maneuver and did not give me an irritation like the panasonic did.also return the panasonic for the braun for two reasons, the braun gave me no irritation and braun comes with a 3 settings from sensitive to high performance this is awesome feature.

Bought this product a year ago and I love it! I have an extremely sensitive skin and I was buying all types of products but nothing was working... My face couldn't see a razor no more. And it wasn't until last year's black Friday that this shaver went on sale and I gave it a try. To my surprise, my skin got way better after two shavings. Theres no need for shaving gel or even after shave. Good bye to cuts, bumps and in growth hair. Worth every single dollar...

I'm still in shock as to how well this razor performed. I have had Norelco electric razors for years and after the last time the razor head broke I decided to look at other products. The first shave I had with the Braun was faster and a smoother shave than I ever had with the Norelco. I hope you give this product a try because it will make you a Braun believer!!

I am definitely a fan, I did a lot of research to find the best razor for me. After multiple choices I found the Braun series 7, the cost was a little more but I thought I would give it a try. After using, my face was so smooth, this razor gets so close to me skin, it's one of the best razors I've ever used. This is my forever brand.

I had the previous model for about 7 years and finally had to replace it, This shaver is great and will last a long time.

I had to o switch to an el citric razor b/c of my cancer treatment and now blood thinner mess. Read a lot of reviews and this s embed to be the best fit for me. However, when I got it and tried it the next morning...I was blown away at how close a shave I got. It's as close as a razor! It's worth th cost.
