Shaves almost as close as a blade and you don't have to go over the same area time and time again like with other electrics I've had. Overall this razor has exceeded my expectations for an electric razor. The only negative is the cleaning solution needed to clean the razor (you will have to replace every 1-2 months depending on usage), but the self cleaning works great so it cancels that out in my opinion.

I had received a new Norelco for Christmas; after 6 mos. I had to shave twice a day to look decent. Decided to try Braun; really pleased and impressed with it.

Does a great job. Very easy to clean. I take this shaver everywhere. No need for anything else. Everyday to shave the stubble so the hairs don't get too long.

It's a great product. I've always had this kind of razor. The brand is incredible always. But still my favorite razor is the one that has the cold bar on it.

I have been using Panasonic shaver for more than 10 years. The Panasonic shaver is too loud and after so many years, it takes longer and longer time to shave even after I replace the foil and cutter. So I decided to try the Braun shaver. It is super quiet compared to the Panasonic shaver. As for the shaving time, the Braun shaver is about the same as the Panasonic. Braun's cleaning device is a big plus. Very convenient to use. The only minus point is due to the price. The Braun is much more expensive than the Panasonic shaver.

Have used this product for nealy eight years and have been very much pleased and very satisfied with the smoothness and the closeness it provides me.

This is the second Braun electric shaver I have used. I thought the first shaver (model 7680) was the best shave I have gotten until I purchased the 7-790cc. It is by far the closest most comfortable shave I have ever gotten. It comes with the clean station and a travel case. The only negative I can think of is the price of the shaver and the cost of the cleaning solution replacement modules.

Randomly misses hairs when using. No matter how hard on gentle I pressed, no matter how many times I went over the same area, missed random stubborn hairs. Otherwise very close shave, blade results. Without the worry of Knicks and ingrown after

Very nice shaver. The weight and shave is perfect. The only reason for 4 stars, locking system. If you are not careful to angle the head the lock it, the lock will break. After that the shaved heads move on alternative sides.

My husband had been using a Braun razor for years. He was completely satisfied with the razor but just thought it might be time for a new one. There was no question that the replacement would be a Braun. I wanted to surprise him for his birthday, so I purchased the top of the line Series 7-790 version, though it was pricey. Without my even asking, he told me that he loves the new model. He likes the ergonomics of it, as well as the trimmer function. He has high expectations for technology, so coming from him, this is a very positive endorsement!

This is my second Braun shaver and I couldn't be happier with their products. Their razors give a blade like shave and the devices last years.

My husband is pleased with his new 790cc shaver, which replaced his old Braun model. This new one is quieter and works even better. I do have to mention that the release lock stopped working within about 3 weeks, but I called Best Buy, and they were great about shipping out a replacement promptly, and I just needed to return the defective one to the store. This second shaver works fine, including the release lock, so far. If something else goes wrong, then I will need to update my review.

This is my first electric razor. I read many reviews online including Consumer Reports and this was the top dog. I purchased it for a steep discount on Black Friday and it is worth every penny. The razor charges fast, does a great job cleaning itself, and gives an amazingly close shave.

Helped with trimming down a 5-week growth, to get a closer shave with a razor. Also works really well for quick shaves in the morning.

I have had Braun shavers for 20 plus years. This is my 3rd shaver and the best of the three.

I've used Norelco rotary razors for over 20 years. Unhappy with the cost of replacement blades so I decided to try a new brand. Researched many brands and models and decided on the Braun. Have used now for about a month and it provides a great shave. Took a couple of weeks for my skin to adjust to new razor, but now I'm getting a close, clean shave. Didn't think I needed the cleaner, but wouldn't have another razor without it. Razor comes out very clean and with a fresh smell. Only negative is this style doesn't collect as much razor hair as the rotary style, so it's a little messing if you don't shave at the bathroom sink. However, the close shave is well worth it. So impressed, I replaced my son's Norelco a couple of weeks ago with a Baun. If you get one, be patient for a couple of weeks. Your face has to adjust to any new electric razor. After a couple of weeks, you'll see a difference. Hopefully the replacement blades will work as well as the original. They are reasonable priced. Whatever razor you buy, research the cost and availability of OEM replacement blades.

Braun is an excellent product. I had a pervious Braun seris 7 until I bought this one. Have no issue and does give a clean shave

My husband loves this system. Uses it every other day. A great upgrade from the previous system which he had for many many years.
