The Brother DCP-L2640DW was so easy to set-up! I am not a techy person and I had this set-up quickly. Easy to follow directions and the download made the installation a no-brainer! I would tell anyone looking for a new 3-in-1 printer take a look at the Brother!

This is a great printer. I previously owned a Brother printer which lasted for about nine years. My only issue with the new printer is that when you need to lift the printer cover to put in a sheet and then close it, it tends to slam shut no matter on how you try to prevent that from happening.

The setup was very quick and easy. A few short comings. 1. If it goes into a deep sleep, sometimes you have to power off and back on to wake it up and use it. 2. The software instruction need improvement. I have to hit scan on the machine , then run to the computer to tell it which program to scan to. I have not found a way to have a default scan program/ folder. The previous model allowed a default program. I am sure all of this can be fixed, if instruction were written by a user and not a tech writer engineer..

Nice printer, but setup is cumbersome. Needs to go online immediately for software so be prepared to wait. Prints well.

Connection via USB was very easy to set up. Operation is excellent.

I have not had any challenge using it and i love the fact that it has two plates to place papers for copying. Highly recommend

Bought new printer. Refresh ink toner program offered free 2mon trial and you had to sign up in order for the warrant on the machine to be activated . Billed $14.98 1 month later and received nothing . What they don't tell you is that your printer will be connected to their wifi system and you will be billed a monthly amount and also be billed for each page that you print . It is also difficult having to search through your brothers account information in order to find the page that allows you to cancel this plan . I had the basic plan according to the account and was still billed $14.98, for what I have no earthly idea, never got anything in the mail from brothers and they can't replace the toner to the machine via wifi .

This printer is an outstanding one for Home office use and just general printing tasks. It’s two sided print capability along with it scanning great features. It’s a great update from My previous brother printer that had become outdated.

Printer constantly refuses to connect to network. Contacted Brother and they finally gave up and said it would not work with 5G network?? Contacted Best Buy tech folks and they eventually got it to work via various software downloads. Worked for a couple of days but same problem has returned. Every other wireless device in our home works flawlessly so not a network problem. Also has a frustrating automatic "Deep Sleep" requirement that requires you to manually wake up the printer every time you wish to print. Will return today. Extremely disappointed

For the price this was a overall good purchase for this Brother Printer.

The printer works great. The only thing I had to do was to block Brother from sending me messages even though I unsubscribed to everything.
