Terrible printer for printing

Every time I spend a lot of time to fix it plus it uses a lot of paper for nothing ( it prints wlan report everytime before printing an actual document and does not print what I need) The support does not know anything, looks like they just do not care. I definitely will not buy products from this company any more and will not recommend to do so anyone. And even more, this piece of crap begins to work at anytime and when it starts to work at night it does not give me to sleep. And believe me it is better to loose money you spent on it than have this one. I hate it .thank you

Garbage

Wouldn't connect to wireless router, wouldn't AirPrint from any iPad, or print anything. It did turn on. Model isn't even listed on the Brother web site. No customer support. No online Owner Reference Guide available. Best Buy said just bring back for a refund. So I wasted a whole day on this piece of junk. I will never purchase another Brother product again.

Won't turn on

Ok, while it lasted...

Light home use over 2 years... then dead as a door nail. No idea what happened. Tried every imaginable fix and even troubleshot with Brother product service. In the end, required in person service and repair. Past one year warranty. Disappointed in longevity and reliability. I suppose you get what you pay for. Bye Bye Brother.

Terrible to set up

Finally had to use a USB cable which worked but I can't send anything to the primer from my laptop or phone. STILL NO WIFI aghhhhhhhh. The App doesn't even list my printer model?????????

Drops wifi every 60 sec.

Google it. It's a known issue and none of the suggested workarounds overcome it. Had I realized this I never would have purchased.

Toner not quite what it's hyped up to be

Granted the "starter toner" is a smaller amount but what a crock. I got about half the promised pages out of this thing.

Page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content. Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage will use much more toner and, naturally, will shorten the life of the toner cartridge. Junk

It will say it's connected, then as soon as you go to print something it will say it's offline. After uninstalling and reinstalling I can print or scan exactly one document, then it goes offline again, has to be uninstalled and reinstalled again just to print or scan one more document. Not worth the trouble or the money. Brother's customer support is absolutely no help. They said it had to be my computer or my wireless network. Replaced this with an HP today and haven't had any problems at all...so the problem was obviously not my computer or my network, but the printer, which they absolutely refused to acknowledge as a possibility.

I want a hassel free life, I pay for it.

I should have kept my $60 hp printer scanner color printer. Warranty over a sad stressed customer.
