Q: Do I have to have a USB calble or can it be set up completely wireless except for the power cord
A: I just spent an afternoon trying to install a Brothers printer (model HLL2350DW) to a 5.0 gz network only to find out it was only 2.4 compatible. I shipped it back from where it came. Brother phone support was nice but I ultimately did not want an older printer and force myself to use an older 2.4 network. My fault for not digging deeper into the specs.
Q: I understand this unit cannot print in color - however is it capable of scanning in color?
A: Yes, this can scan in color.
A: The HL-L2390DW is packaged with a starter toner which yields approximately 700 pages.
A: Yes it is AirPrint capable I set it up on my Mac, iPhone and iPad show it as a valid AirPrint printer.
A: Used a USB cord for our printer and it works great. We don't have WiFi so that connectivity was a must for us.
Q: What are differences between L2390DW and L2395DW ??
A: The 2395 has a touch screen controller and the 2390 has an old style 2-line display and it is controlled by a bunch of buttons. Otherwise, it looks like the same machine.
Q: It say 10 inches height and 16.1 inches wide. What is the depth???
A: Depth is 15.5 inches. It is closer to 11 inches tall
Q: How does this printer print legal size?
A: Yes, the printer will print up to 8.5 x 14 legal size paper.
