First time owning a Brother, first time owning a laser printer. Once it arrived, which was surprisingly quick, I was able to print 36 pages front and back in less than 2 minutes. My old inkjet printer would have taken forever in comparison. I initially wanted the smaller profile version that keeps getting sold out but I'm extremely pleased so far with the performance of this big boy. It looks clean and professional though the larger size is kind of an eyesore at home but I'm getting used to it. Plus, this one has a scanner that'll definitely come in handy one day.

Great printer. Love the wireless feature. We were tired of spending money on color cartridges we never used. This printer is way better then our previous inkjet printers. Cartridge lasts a long time too.

Bought this Brother printer for home use and it has worked great. Linking to wifi took some time but once connected, works great.

The printer and copier portion work excellent. I haven’t used it for anything otherwise. Have had it for a few years now. I like that I can print from my phone. The toner is expensive of course, but you don’t go through it as much as you would with ink. Have had no issues with it and highly recommend.

Does exactly what I need for my business. Highly recommend for creating black and white documents. Ink replacement is minimal compared to ink jet printers.

Just like family. Setup was a breeze. Even the test page printed double sided just to show off. Then, I tried airprint from my iPhone and it worked perfectly. This printer is just $30 more than the cheapest HP laser but this Brother has a scanner! I tested that too and it was perfect. This is great. Replaced an Epson inkjet because it promised I could print one more page when the inks were low and stole it when I really needed that one more print. Bye bye epson. Hello Brother. I had one for years and gave it to a college student and really missed it. Now it's back. Happy.

A complete printer and scanner that also does copies. Flat bed design allows you to scan books and other objects. Fast print speed and fast time to first print. Wired or wireless connection. Simple setup and lots of additional software utilities. Laser toner is lower in cost and less of a problem than ink jet. If you do not need color this is a good choice.

This laser printer is high quality, very easy to use. It is wireless & has a scanner as well. It was easy to set-up, simple to replace toner & load paper. Scans come out clear. Copies are clean & it can print 2-sided

Our 3rd Brother printer and as expected, it works like a charm. It's easy to setup, doesn't take up much space given it's an MFP; print quality is what I expected for a monochrome laser; and easily connects to our WiFi network. Windows setup was straightforward enough (Parents have a windows machine :thumbsdown). The printer just works with the Apple ecosystem of course! All told - a great inexpensive MFP from a reliable company.

Since I just retired I no longer have access to the photocopy machine and printer in my office. So I wanted something simple and inexpensive for working at home. I don't need color copies. The HL-L239ODW was perfect for my needs: nice simple design, inexpensive, doesn't take up a lot of space and, most importantly, it was easy to set up and easy to use The video with step-by-step instructions that Brother provides at their website was very helpful. I was skeptical of the wireless printing but so far it works fine.

We use Brother printers at work. They are real workhorses that are affordably priced. Refill cartridges also are reasonable, and off-brand cartridges for Brother printers abound if that's your taste. This model is no different. Got it on sale as a "deal of the day," and it was well worth it. Its tapered base comes in handy if you have a bit less room on your printer cart or desktop. It is relatively easy to use, directions are clear, includes a small LCD screen for prompts, scans and prints beautifully, and hooks up for wireless use readily. It includes a starter cartridge. This only prints in B&W, but I have had much more expensive color all-in-one printers from other manufacturers that required a degree in nuclear physics to get to work. This one, in contrast, is a breeze to use. If you don't need color printing (by the way, you scan to your desktop in color anyway with this printer), I recommend this -- especially if you catch a sale.

This thing is fantastic. It's quiet and it's fast. The print quality is superb and it even duplexes. It's a fax, it's a copier and it's a scanner. You can connect your pc wirelessly or by usb. Setup is a breeze. (Even for 74 year old me). Best of all it's a laser printer at the price of an inkjet. I am so tired of the ink drying up and spending $50+ for ink tanks that will dry up again in two months. For the price of an inkjet printer and 4 replacement cartridges I have a great laser printer and toner that should last two years. I never thought I needed a color printer in the first place. It will also print from any device wirelessly or from the cloud if that's what you want. My inkjet printer days are over and my wallet and I could not be happier.

I recently purchased a Brother printer for my home office, and I must say, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. This printer has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, reliability, and overall print quality. One of the standout features of this printer is its speed. It prints pages quickly and efficiently, which is essential for someone like me who often has a high volume of documents to print. The printing process is smooth and consistent, and I have not encountered any paper jams or other technical issues. The print quality is exceptional. Text documents come out crisp and sharp, and the colors in photos and graphics are vibrant and accurate. Whether I'm printing black and white documents or colorful presentations, the Brother printer delivers excellent results every time. Another aspect that I appreciate about this printer is its user-friendly interface. The control panel is intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing me to quickly adjust settings and monitor the printing progress. Additionally, setting up the printer was a breeze, thanks to clear instructions and helpful software. The printer also offers convenient connectivity options. I can print wirelessly from my laptop, smartphone, or tablet without any hassle. This has made printing from different devices a seamless experience, saving me time and effort. In terms of durability, the Brother printer feels solid and well-built. It has a sturdy construction that gives me confidence in its long-term performance. The printer also has a decent paper capacity, reducing the frequency of paper refills. Overall, I highly recommend the Brother printer to anyone in need of a reliable and high-quality printing solution. It delivers fast and impressive results, offers convenient features, and has proven to be a reliable workhorse in my home office. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to choose a Brother printer again in the future.
