The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content. Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge. Poor printing quality

Nice Printer, Horrible Retailer

Yet Brother doesn't lie about their products like Bestbuy does about adverting Win11 with Alienware x17 and not getting. They do not care to fix it or too incompetent.

VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!

I waited for 6 hours and again was a No SHOW! Tried to call and after asking to speak to a supervisor… waited 18 min only to be disconnected! Finally got thru and was told that Oh The Technition did not pass his medical test and I would have to be rescheduled! After the fact … they knew it in the morning but failed to let me know! Now told that the next available date was Jan 17 instead of my Dec 23! Then received a text saying they were coming Dec 27 between 7-1. Called to get a confirmation on that and was told by a supervisor that I am not on any schedule for Dec27 !!!!!

Faulty Printer

However, two weeks ago it stopped working. I've moved it to other outlets and have tried other appliance in the outlets and they work. I've turned my internet off and on, but the machine will not turn on. Due to the snow and awkwardness of the machine, I have not returned it to Best Buy yet. I will be returning it this week. Hopefully, Best Buy will replace it with a better model....

Don't Buy if You Have a Newer Mac w/ a Newer OS

I was on the phone with Brother for 2 hrs. trying to get my computer to recognize the printer, but it wouldn't. Then I called Apple and found out that for some newer computers using Mojave, Catalina, or Big Sur, both Brother and HP printers are having compatibility issues. Bummer!

Died after 14 months!

Now it will not turn on. Jiggled cord, replugged, and it turned on for 1 scan. Then it shut itself off. Jiggled, plugged in again, on/off immediately. Same again, but took about 10 seconds before it shut off. Usually I just left it turned on, but a few days ago decided to turn it off. Chat no help, said to call. Is there a fuse or something I can replace?

Manual Feed a bust

Very disappointing

My computer doesn't have a disc drive, so the instructions say you can download from the website, only they don't include this specific model. Trying to work with downloads for similar model numbers proved fruitless. Epson's lack of attention to detail should be considered.

Printer interrupts Windows 10 computer "sleep"

Very frustrating. Must power off printer to allow computer to sleep (at increased toner usage for each printer power cycle)
