Makes you enter password to update software on the PC yet does not take the correct pass even listed in the software or back of the machine on sticker meaning you can never update the software making security flaws on your PC.

After buying and buying and buying so many ink cartridges for the 2 inkjet printer in my house I finally had enough. I mainly print in black and white with the occasional color picture here and there so I was willing to sacrifice the color for money savings. There are numerous, cheaper ways to get pictures printed and delivered then spending the money to do it at home. This all in one was on sale so I jumped on it and so happy that I did. The setup was simple and it was quickly connected to my wireless network. I like the fact that it holds a good amount of paper and the print speed is sooo much faster than my old HP inkjet.

Wonderful printer BUT VERY expensive toner useage. I should have looked at toner usage reviews before buying. One $45 cartridge will get 400-600 prints with moderate usage - NO pictures. Brothers advertises 1200

Stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.

Great Printer - Easy To Set Up

My old HP all in one tortured me the last few months and I knew it was time to retire the seven-year-old machine and I wanted to stop having to pay ridiculous prices for ink. so... I purchased the Brother - HL-L2395DW Wireless Black-and-White All-In-One Printer - Gray, It installed easily and without error or having to do anything but run the disk that came with it. It hooked up to my WIFI easily and it prints perfectly data sent to it from my Motorola Supra phone. The print quality is sharp and it prints fast. I am very pleased so far with the device and the starter toner promised me 700 pages (I would really expect about 500 or so) and the new toner that will give me about 1300 pages costs the same as one set of HP cartridges. I am hoping for good service life and happy printing.

Loved it until I hated it.

I loved this printer for the 3 weeks it worked. I wanted a wireless printer that I could use to print from my IPad while sitting on the couch. I only needed it to print emails, recipes and receipts etc. It was easy to initially set-up. It found our network right away and I only needed to type in our password. We were able to print from all our Apple devices as well as our laptop. The print quality was very nice. I chose this model because so many reviews gave it 5 stars. After 3 weeks, it quit printing consistently. Sometimes hours later. I tried resetting and re-entering my info, only to have it print once or twice and then stop again. Then it would only print from one device after re-entering our password. After trying everything suggested online and resetting at least 25 times, I gave up. It would only print one or two things from which ever device you printed from first. One shouldn’t have to re-enter one’s password every time you want to print. We have another wireless printer and it printed fine, so it wasn’t an issue with our network or devices. I had purchased the Geek Squad 2 year replacement policy. In theory, I should have been able to get a new printer as I had bought replacement insurance. This model was sold out and Best Buy could not give me an idea of when I could get a replacement, if ever. My choice was to receive a store credit minus the cost of the Replacement Policy or work with Brother under their 1 year warranty. (This would require sending to Brother.) Best Buy is having a stock problem and didn’t really have something similar that I wanted as a replacement. So, now I have no printer, no idea when they are getting more stock in, and I am out the money for the cost of the Replacement Policy. I have store credit for a printer I can’t buy because they hardly have any printers in stock or know when they may arrive. If Best Buy could not replace my printer with a like product, they should have refunded my money for the Replacement Policy I purchased. I was told I will have to purchase a new policy for the new printer I buy. I bought a Replacement Policy to get a replacement, not a Store Credit to buy another printer and have to buy another policy to cover that one.
