I looked up the reviews and this printer was one of the top. I was worried it would not be easy to use for the entire family but even my parents are able to use it from their to print from their iPhones

This is our second Brother laser printer; the first one lasted through both kids in high school, and many more years after. We wouldn’t have replaced it with anything other than another Brother laser printer.

We needed a reliable printer to replace our (gave up too early) Canon and Epson inkjet machines. They were constantly plagued with clogging. The reviews on this Brother laser printer, combined with the fair price, convinced us to buy it and we are very pleased. It is black and white only, which is fine for us (working from home). We were able to easily connect it to our wireless network. It prints quickly and the pages look great. We are completely satisfied.

Excellent printer quality and speed for the price! Perfect for a small office space. Third party ink also makes this printer more affordable to refill.

Bought this so my son could do college assignments during the shutdown. Had to update firmware and couldn’t get it to work on my wireless network. He plugs it into a usb cable anyway. Maybe when he goes back to school I will get to use it.

I decided on this model because I was tired of the continual problems I continued to have with a jet printer. Ink dries up it's very expensive and toner cartridges for the laser are actually less expensive and last longer.

It is a good printer. but nothing special about it tho.

Only concern is how much force is required to push paper tray back into the unit. Otherwise very satisfied - much better than our old HP ink/jet. Faster, quieter, & good print quality.

Easy set up and good results, can't ask for much more.

This is a great document printer as long as you don't mind printing in black and white. It's more like an office copy machine that you can print to. But that's exactly what I wanted. Love the fact that it works with dry ink cartridges and you don't have to worry about the cartridges drying out like in an inkjet printer.

Easy to set up. Prints fast. It is quiet, too. My first Brother printer and I would buy it Wyagain.

We needed a printer that uses toner instead of ink because we no longer use the printer frequently. Toner is a powder so it doesn't dry up like ink does. While the printer is pure black and white and does not have a fax capability, it has performed flawlessly for us.

Love this printer. It was easy to set up and prints fairly quick. Great printer for any home office.

quality is good speed could be better noise is not much

Been looking for office use. The ink is last longer. I just wish if they had color cartridge or color printing available in this one. But other than that working very nice, no problem and no hassle.

Much better value than the ink jet printers I formerly used when it comes to printing everyday items. I really like that I can print double sided with this. However, it is not a color printer but I knew that when I bought it. The biggest downside is that I thought this would be able to print much more with the toner cartridge. Although more than an ink jet, it was no where near the output that it stated it would do. The quality of printing is average. It was very easy to set up which was nice.

Printer is accurate, definite edges on letters and margins. Extremely responsive and fairly quiet.

I switched from an ink jet to this black and white laser printer. Was using too much ink with the ink jet. So far I am very happy with the purchase. It has only jammed one time and it was not hard to clear it out.
