I use Linux. Brother makes it easy to install their printers vs HP. This all in one B&W laserjet printer does everything I need. Sure the toner might be a bit costly for a new one, but it's important to compare vs a inket that will easily clog up and become useless If you use them infrequently.

I bought this printer as a replacement for my old Brother printer, and my old scanner. Setup was easy. I used a USB cable for the initial setup, and then switched to my home Wi-Fi. Scans are pretty fast. I can not do multiple pages automatically thought, you'd have to switch them manually.

I chose this model printer after reading many positive reviews on many different websites and was also recommended by 2 of my co-workers who owns one in their home offices. I'm so glad I did. Performance is excellent and I will continue to recommend this to anyone seeking a reliable printer.

this brother is very touchy in working in the wireless mode and is very slow in spooling print documents compared to my older brother printer.

This is a good printer for the price. Even though this is my third Printer in 3 years.

Needed a simple printer. Prints are clear. Did not use other features.

A printer that I don't have enough words to express the AWESOMENESS of! It was only today that I had a slight issue after scanning 70 documents back to back with a Wi-fi hotspot broadcast from my phone. It worked without issue and I have only had to replace the toner once! Great value!

Just needed a inexpensive dependable monochrome printer. Just what the doctor ordered. All I complained is don't get fooled when the light comes on to replace cartridge still have hundreds of copies when you get the warning so don't replace it right away. Otherwise good product.

Works great. Easy set up. An automatic document feeder would be the icing on the cake

Many models to choose from, this had the exact feature set that I wanted. Many installation steps/options i.e., this is a printing system that can be centrally managed if desired. Don't forget to order an extra toner cartridge and a printer cover

A great printer for the price, with a decent amount of features. Super easy to setup and "just worked" with printing from both iOS and Android devices. Unless you print ALOT, the starter toner will last you a good while. Really appreciated the Ethernet port for adding to home network

High quality print. Fast installation via PC. Sometimes show connection issues.

Works great! Great help at the store. He didn't try to sell me something i didn't need which I don't like. The only problem I had with the printer was that it didn't come with a manual in the box so without a working printer it took me awhile to set up.

Product worked right out of the box. I have not used it much but no problems so far.

Very easy to setup. But it should be priced somewhere around $100.

easy to set up and use. works well in all three modes (print, scan and copy).

Difficult to set-up on wireless. The drivers had to be reloaded three time in each of my two laptops. Seems to be working OK for now.

Printer seems to be working for multiple computers. Best Buy seems they are required to send daily+ advertising emails since this purchase.
