I have gone with my last 2 printers with the tankless ink and both of them I got to the point where I could not figure out why the heads were not getting cleaned. The ink was cheap and never an issue but I felt like I had to keep replacing the printer. With this laser which is similar to the older model I have had at work since 2018 I just buy a new cartridge but never have any other Maintenance to have to worry about. So getting laser is now my new preference.

This printer was bought as replacement for an old laser printer that was at the end of its life. I like that it will not stop me printing, from what I understand, when it gets to the point where the printer software tells me it is empty. We all know that the toner still has a long way to go before it is actually empty. The prints and the color are just what I expect from a brand name. I also like that it prints double sided without human intervention.

This printer has not worked properly since day 3 of ownership. Prior to any print job after that point, I have had to remove the cartridges and slide the green tabs. Even then, it may or may not print. Print quality is atrocious. Brother's customer service was nonexistent. At one point, the Brother rep told me to send a picture of the unopened printer. I said, "I have been talking to you about printer issues, what makes you think it is unopened?" No response. Started getting drum errors with 72% drum life left, followed by phantom paper jams. Regardless of paper type. I should note that I went to thhe Navy's printer repair school back in the day so I am no strager to operation and parts. This thing was an impulse purchase due to the lower cost of Brother's cartridges. Horrible decision.

Love this printer. Got on sale so made even better. Works perfect. Easy setup. Easily can print wireless from my desktop, laptop or android phones. Checked phone email at work, saw document needed to print. Told to print, got home and in tray nice and printed. I don't print huge volume so cost of toner was not major issue

It is a great printer, very clear and fast. I needed an all in one so I will return this one to get one that does printing, scanning, faxing and copying.

I recommend this printer. It's fast, the colors are good, and the features are versatile, so I'm very satisfied.

The best laser color printer with display, WiFi…..

Printer had a very loud fan and threw multiple codes saying that the fuser was bad. We had to return it to the store. Took about 20 minutes and turning it off & on and then the loud fan ran for almost 15 minutes before we could finally print if the printer was cold.

I was using an ink-jet at home and, because I didn’t use it often, the ink was always clogged up. Now it works like a charm.

Loving the quality and speed of this printer, especially for our home use.
