The Brother HL-L3280CDW is best suited for general office tasks, producing sharp documents and charts. It is not ideal for printing high-quality vacation photos. The printer consistently delivers impressive, laser-quality output on every page. It produces smudge-free documents.

Had been brother for 10+ years,Never broke down,never disappointed.Still using the old laser B&W printer.Bought the new Color one to add one to personal office.I am not a Fan bot,but I always had issues with Hp and Canon,brother models may have one or two less features for the price compared to the other two,but it is more reliable,and I appreciate that aspect the most.

we wanted a dependable printer that was not ink jet and this Brother fits the bill. The ink jet printers that we have had in the past would get clogged up so that they would not print. A laser printer does not get clogged for lack of use. Although the toner is more expensive, they are supposed to last for a 1000 pages. So far so good.

The printer is great. The color and text are very good. Simple install. It was a good buy. Hopefully the ink will last a while. Time will tell. I have used a laser jet due to the longevity of the ink and the quality of the text/color. I have used other Brother printers in the past and they have been of good quality.
