This printer is absolute garbage. I bought this after my HP printer finally died after 11 years. I thought I'd give this brand a try. What a mistake!! I haven't even had this printer for a year and I spend more time troubleshooting than printing. Every time I try to print, I end up having to clean print nozzles or align the print cartridges or align the paper tray. Everything I print has streaks in it or is missing lines or the color isn't filled in completely. I run a small business and have very little time as it is. I don't have the time to waste trying to fix a one-year-old machine or money to waste on paper and ink since I have to throw away half of what I print. I need reliable equipment and this just isn't cutting it.

We just purchased this last night---already set it up, and busy printing. No problems with set-up, was quite simple and straight forward.

No complaints really it is a well rounded printer for home and small business.

A great little printer that is much better then my older HP and Epson that messed around with the ink. Brother for the win.

I replaced a HP printer with this one and cannot think of a reason to go back to HP which has lost quality

Works great! Takes a little while to set up, but once it was up and running, it works perfectly.

I had a little trouble getting it set up, but it wasn't horrible. Other than that, it's a fantastic machine.

Printer stopped working after one month , smh some sort of communication error is happening between all devices to the printer, it’s either printing blank pages or not printing anything at all . Customer service for brother is trying to figure out what’s wrong still

Utter disappointment. Easily jams. But worse without warning after very light use, it will no longer print with any depth of color, the black ink barely shows. I wasted $100 on new ink cartridges. No improvement and although Best Buy acknowledges it has barely been used I have to go through their 3 repair visit policy. I have to have three in home repair attempts before they will replace it. What a waste of time and resources. And I am without a printer in the interim. I will not be buying a printer again from Best Buy and I will not buy Brother

The printer has been reliable, but the User Interface is very poorly designed and non-intuitive. Also, the extent of low-ink marketing messages, which make the printer temporarily inoperable, qualifies as harassment. I've been used to more expensive printers, so the very limited capabilites are also an issue for me.
