Just what I needed as my 12 yo printer had died. Got this because of ink supply and Brother reputation.

I have been doing serious research for years on a printer. I'm a crafter, recipe collector and Psychology student so my printer needs to be ahead of me lol. This one I have been watching for a minute, nervous to pull the trigger I jumped in. I did have some issues connecting but I contacted Best Buy and they had me up and running in no time. Connectivity was actually my own fault lol. I highly recommend! After I was connected I immediately printed beautiful pages. In the couple of weeks I've had it I have printed over 100 recipes with barely any ink used!!! That was a fear from my hubby. I bragged about this one. It was an early Christmas present from hubby, I LOVE my new printer. Thank you Best Buy for having a great dealon an amazing product (as usual)! Do your research people.

Crumbles paper ~60% of the time. Cannot print more than 5 pages without a crumbled piece. Does not print black, only a medium grey color. Wish that I used it a bit more before the return period because I definitely would have returned it. For as expensive as it is, I should be able to print black text and not have to worry about the paper crumbling up.

It is a good printer that is used to print papers with ink on it. It has cheap ink so it is cheap.

does not have duplex scanning. Multiple pages are saved as individual pdf files. Useless for scanning multi page documents. other than that seems to work well.

I purchased this printer on 7/15/21. It worked fine for the first couple of weeks, then the paper started jamming. I changed the brand of paper thinking that would solve the problem, but it did not. Now it's too late to return.

I bought this because of the new INKvestment tank technology, as well as the feature set. I also wanted the very latest model to avoid premature end-of-life problems. Sadly, I could never get past Step 1 of setup because it constantly hung with a Paper Jam error fresh out of the box. I looked everywhere, but there was nothing visible. After contacting Brother Support, I just boxed it up, returned it, and got a previous model MFC-J1010DW. That works flawlessly.

My printer is awesome! I haven’t had to purchase ink yet and I’m nowhere needing to.

Took FOREVER to set up. Wifi didn't want to connect. SLOW at copying and scanning. Makes constant beeping sounds and you can't exit a function. Communication error all the time for fax.

Always 2 lines on every printed page that were out of alignment. Scanning was limited due to small paper feeder. Felt this was cheaply made, low end printer that was not user friendly. Brother support was readily available but never could fix my issues.

I thought it would be great, but it kept jamming. I even tried 3 different kinds of paper. I tried getting support, but everything was online. I finally boxed it up and returned it. I spent so much time dealing with this.
