It would be difficult to find a better printer for twice the money, I looked. Set up, was simplistic and accomplished with minimum irritation. This is my first Brother printer, definitely not my last.

This printer was a breeze to hook up! Out of the box and working in less than 10 minutes. So far so good!!! I have always used Brother printers and when I saw you get a years worth of ink in the box I said I gotta try.

I bought the Brother printer to replace a Canon Pixma TR8000 series that broke after 2 short years. So far the Brother is working well but we had to fight with the network settings to connect using wifi. I had to download and reinstall the Brother drivers and software multiple times before finally getting it to connect reliably. The printer itself is surprisingly quiet, very quick and it does not burn through the ink. Black and white printing is very good and photo prints are decent as well. Not as crisp as our ancient HP PhotoSmart 8250 but still far better than average for an all in one printer. I hope the Brother holds up better than the Canon. I would tentatively recommend this new printer.

This is the easiest to set up and use wifi printer I have ever used. I can print from my.ohone and it only took a few minutes to configure. I can scan documents and the printer emails them to me directly. Awesome.

I love this fax, printer, scanner. It is very easy to set up. Wireless function works great. You can print from your cell or tablet. Great purchase for someone who doesn’t want to spend a fortune in ink.

Excellent machine, easy setup just wish there was an option in printer color such as black. Due to pandemic waited 14 months for this and the J89 to come back in stock to purchase

Looked long and hard for a replacement printer. This is a great printer. Does what we need extremely well. I would highly recommend this one. Great wireless printer

This replaces a HP 6968, stopped printing and kept rebooting. This (brother) MFC-J995dw seems to work perfectly. Stays on line,has many options,fast print,easy installation and clear,crisp printing.

Awesome printer for the price. Ink lasts a long time. Had this printer for around 9 months now and still have plenty of ink.

Was replacing an HP printer that I had for 10 years until i got the dreaded replace printer head assembly error (not cartridge, the head). Got Brother based on reviews. I really don't understand the high ratings for this printer. First and foremost, i get paper jam errors every 20-50 pages when there's no actual jam. Still need to go through the darn process to "clear" the phantom jam. What a drag. While print speed is good, in duplex mode (double sided mode), it's pretty slow. Print one side fast, clack clack clack whir whir whir to flip to other side.

This printer has thus far exceeded my expectations. I have had HP printers for several years and was sort of suckered into staying with them because of their instant ink program, but this changes everything.

I bought this all-in-one for my daughter's Christmas present so I expect it to work fine based on the reviews. I'll update if it doesn't perform as I expect it to.

Good printer for regular, non-photo work. The printouts are clear. It seems to consume a very limited amount of ink and it's possible to check number of prints done and remaining. Overall, satisfied with the printer so far.

Great printer and fast. Connects easily. I like that you can print just in black and white and save on the color ink. Prints from phone or computer or iPad.

We had the printer for six months. The ink is holding strong even though we have printed tons of pages for school work. My wife has also printed a fair amount of 4x6 pictures. This printer has maintained its connection to the computer via Wi-Fi with no problems. (I had an HP printer previously that I had to constantly restart so it would connect to the computer and wasted a lot of ink). The scanner has been easy to use for me to upload documents and photos.

Easy to set up and print from laptop and cell phone app. Sometimes it can printo slow and it thinks the machine is jammed. Over all it works good though. Hope I can go a year with out buying ink

Had the printer for slightly over a year. It has done the job, but several things could be better. Ink lasted a year, but replacement ink was over $100. Maybe cost per copy isn't too bad. Also, I wish I had spent a little more and purchased a faster printer. Long print jobs especially in duplex mode take a while. Find something else to do. It doesn't have a quality sound as it prints, but paper jams are rare. The printer footprint is good. It's a neat design and Ink is easy too install although it can be a little messy. It's an OK printer.

Great printer for the money. App integration with your phone is great. Print quality is good and form factor is nice, doesnt take up too much room.

This printer was easy to set up and has all of the features that I need. It is fast and the output is of good quality. I do not do thousands of prints or copies, but so far it has been reliable. I would buy it again.

They told me that this was a great printer and had a great service record. The first Brother printer I've purchased. Everything about this printer is great, easy to install and works flawless!!
