Updating review after longer experience and having to contact Brother support twice for an issue. After scanning some time of not printing such as sitting overnight the printer makes a high pitched squeal and delays before printing. Contacting Brother support twice on this issue, including providing a recording of exactly what was happening, only redirected to the FAQ which was even stated was already reviewed. While the design is nice, as the company avoids servicing under their 2 year warranty. I strongly recommend not to buy unless you plan on spending more to get servicing through Best Buy bypassing Brother.

Love this all in one printer, great for home or small office ink lasts longer than other brands

Great Printer --- VERY Simple wireless setup as long as you know how to install it from the disk and READ THE SCREEN for instructions!

Finally a wireless printer that actually works over slow wifi connection without timing out!!!!

By far the best for the buck for my home office. very easy to use and setup. great multi use printer.

I had an older version of this model and searched multiple sites to find a comparable product. I can copy double sided documents, print items on the flatbed, send faxes, and scan papers with this relatively inexpensive machine. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This machine does its works perfectly, super economic, very fast and multitask, excellent product.

PRINTER IS MUCH FASTER THAN PREVIOUS BROTHER PRINTER I OWNED. BUT CARTRIDGES ARE MORE EXPENSIVE.

Very disappointed in the all in one printer. I decided to try Brother due to reviews and cost effectiveness. I am very thorough when buying anything and thought I had done all of my research. Little did I know that in order to copy or print any legal document, YOU HAVE TO OPEN BACK OF PRINTER & HAND FEED LEGAL PAPER INTO MACHINE ONE SHEET AT A TIME!!!!! What purpose does an app or Wifi serve if you have to HAND FEED the documents. I just left Best Buy & asked if I can exchange for another printer and was told NO. YOU ONLY HAVE 14 DAYS. I went to Brother directly and they said too bad. My 5 yr old HP that still works is more up to date than this one. BEST BUY PLEASE TELL YOUR BUYERS TO BEWARE!!! NEVER AGAIN!! It is also CHEAPLY MADE but I could have dealt with that one.

This printer is not what I was expecting. After reading several good reviews about it, I decided to buy it. However for my surprise it did not correspond to the good reviews written about it. The printer is very noisy.

Does everything needed. Easy to set up and operate. No problems encountered to date.

While this did seem to be a decent printer and copier it was very difficult to get set up initially, and even harder to use. The paper tray is located very inconveniently in the front which makes it hard to load paper. It also is prone to jam, with my experience, about every 3 to 5 pages. The touchscreen was nice and had a good display and the user interface was fairly intuitive. All in all I eventually learned there are many printers available at a lower price and this is just not a good purchase. I returned my Brother printer to Best Buy and bought another brand.

This printer is one of the better ones that I've owned and at half the price.

It prints both sides, black and color at a pretty good speed. It's perfect!
