Won't work on Mac OS 10.6.8

I like the printer. Works OK on my XP OS, but when I tried to install drivers on my MAC OS 10.6.8, wouldn't load and told me it only works on 10.7.5 and above! I information I got from the Best Buy web page said it worked on all Mac OS. Now I gotta take it back.

It is a good printer but it needs improvements in picture printing quality.

This printer is horrible made. Extremely noisy, very hard to set up and horrible user interface. It uses a lot of ink and i would have to refill way too frequently. After a year it simply stopped printing and would just put out blank pages . After speaking with Brother it is clear they practice Planned Obsolescence. where they design the product to fail after a certain amount of time so you have to pay to repair or purchase another one.

    Worst printer ever

Worst printer I've ever owned...even worse than dot matrix printers from the late 80's. Printer goes offline at random times and won't come online. To get it online, have to turn it on and off about 5 times before it decides to come online. Help on website was useless, Ready to take it out back in yard and take sledgehammer to it...at least I can take frustrations out on it. Hope when going for replacement that BB rep doesn't try to sell me another Brother...if so, I'll quickly ask for help from another rep to see if someone in the store has any idea how terrible Brother printers are. If all recommend, guess I'll stop shopping at Best Buy.

    Lousy & slow

have been using this printer for almost a year now and it is packed with great features - but thats where the good parts end. It makes a lousy network attached printer and has taken about 30 minutes at times to execute a print command send from a wifi connected mac / PC / ipad It takes a long time to get online (I have a decent LAN setup at home) and when it starts printing, it has wasted so much of paper for me but throwing up partially printed pages. Works well - sometimes. Most of the time, it fails. Its too much fuss to make do with this. I had an HP wireless printer earlier and it used to work great.
