Requires bridge

I have used other smart bulbs with no problem, but eventually figured out you needed to purchase a bridge to make these work. Not such a great deal after all.

Posted .Hello, onecentrich. The C by GE bulbs only need the C by GE app on a mobile device, using Bluetooth to be able to function. There are other functions available when using a hub/bridge to use with additional devices. Feel free to check additional information on www.cbyge.com.

Solid for the price

I’ve had to fix the WiFi connection already once since owning them but day-to-day they work well and the dimming feature is worth it for an apartment.
