This camera is the best. It notifies you if any type of motion. Have had to use the siren. It is clear in hearing any noise and pictures

I am very pleased with the Canary. The video is very clear, the siren is loud and I receive my alerts in a timely fashion. This was my second purchase of the canary. I purchased mine approx 1 year ago and I purchased one a couple of months ago for a family member.

Love this product for my apartment, very easy to set up and very easy to install. I recommend this product to people who have small apartments/condos as this helps cover more area then it would a bigger home. Pro: This product has great sound quality and audio, and great two way talking feature, plus the added live video monitoring. Cons: it does have a very slow lag time when it comes to notifying you as well as pulling up the live web. But that’s typically something that you’d expect from a security camera that is on Wi-Fi. Also the monthly fee of $10 can be a little bit much.. just to use certain things on the app to go along with the camera. All in all I give it a 4 out of 5, again I recommend this for apartments and condos only... if you’re needing something for a house, this may not be the product best suited for that need.

Great product! Easy to setup, fun to use and great to have a security system without monthly fees. I like it so much I will buy a second one .

Loved the trial period. Good wide angle high quality video with automatic switching from home to away modes. Slight delay in recording and live video. Loud siren if you enabled it. Ended up returning because of the monthly subscription with Canary to have access to more downloads and the complaint that you have to be checking when you get an alert if you want to notify authorities. Also uncertain if pets would activate. Could be useful, liked the design but would have preferred it in white. Maybe if there wasn't a monthly rate.

Set unit up quickly. Took it a few days to realize there was a dog in the house! Once we programmed all of the home members in it worked like a charm. Set it up in NY then moved it to Florida. It is sensitive to the change in sunlight through the front door sidelights, so we moved it slightly. Good way to monitor the temperature in the house while we are away.Picture quality is outstanding as is the noise transmission.

Works great and paired with the Canary App, provides peace of mind when I'm away from home, easy to install as well.

The camera does what it is intended to do. My only reservation is that you can only view from a smart phone. Hoping they will get with the program and allow viewing from my computer.

I was looking for more of an none traditional security camera, something I can put anywhere and blend in. This canary camera is fantastic. Easy set up, and great with notifications. I can say there is a small delay with the object like 4-5 seconds, but thats with all security cameras unless you hardwire it. For me I just use in a apartment basically my other set of eyes. Forgot to mention it checks your air quailty which is super cool. Safe for kids/babies room. Highly recommend.

Like many many people, I bought this knowing I didn't have to sign up for anything, but now I have to. A piece of junk now. Even before this happened, the app sucked. Camera loses signal all the time. My notifications come in WAY after a movement is detected.

This is a great surveillance camera and it does what it says it does. Consistently watches over your home without any breaks. Best value and easy breezy set up. Highly recommend.

Packed with great harewares but too little features

I bought this camera for my lake house. It alerts me when there is any activity while armed. It is in color and is very accurate. It syncs to your iPhone and iwatch and sends an alert to both. Would buy another one. Good value.

I'm able to keep track of what's going on when away from home. This arms itself automatically when I leave and disarms when I return.

I really like this camera, it was easy to set up and use. There is an option to click on an alarm that will go off in the house which may scare an intruder away. I found this on accident though from the app on my phone, just know this is there and you do have to click yes or cancel which I did not see initially until my daughter called me from home to ask what the loud noise was and to shut it off.

Good quality video and iPhone app is quite good, but because it alerts you versus having a mode in which the alarm sounds, it has limited usefulness as a standalone security system.

This is an excellent, fairly pried device that does exactly what it advertises.
