Is not consistent ... I realize it does not always work.

The Canary is a terrific, simple, basic security system. We split our time between Florida and Vermont.....we have them in both places. Easy to use and set up. The base plan is simple and basic.

This works amazing and is my favorite addition to our home. We pay the 9.99 a month to store videos just in case. We have great reception and the picture is very clean!

Product should come with instructions in box. Also should not have to pay extra to be able to use the "talk" feature. Camera feature need to have a better focus and clarity. Other security camera, this feature is automatically included. I would recommend it to a friend it they get it for a sale price.

It is nice that you can record what happens, but it doesn't sound an alarm when it activity is detected

It is relatively sensitive, also occasionally picks up dust - otherwise, I love it. I am away about half of the week, so it gives me great peace of mind. Price is right compared to comparable products.

Purchased this product to watch my dogs. However, in addition I feel more secure than before because I get notifications when movement occurs and where it is located in the evening I see a benefit in that.

I specifically got this thinking that it would be a great standalone "plug n play" security camera based on every company description I could find online. As I was setting up, it seemed that I needed a separate wi-fi service (I only have wi-fi and internet on my phone). I e-mailed their customer service with one simple question: did I or did I not need to purchase anything separate, such as a wi-fi subscription for my home, in order for this to work. Many evasive e-mails later, the rep finally admitted that it would not work without a wi-fi service. I had to scrape together money and use a BestBuy gift card to make this purchase to try to feel safe in my apartment...it's just sitting in my apartment wasting space. I can't even use my mobile wi-fi with this and I can't have any installations that will put holes in the walls. If Canary at least offered a built in wireless service like some other cameras seem to have, I would have even paid a monthly fee for that.

Very easy setup for device, very good customer service

Useful home security camera that includes good software support. Picture quality is good and app works well to monitor the house. Recently added Amazon Alexa support, which is a bonus.

Lots of false alerts and many false promises . For that price point it needs a lot of development. Great concept but doesn't deliver what is promised on the box or advert.

The Canary worked great for my needs. It offered the added security I needed for inside my home. I used it in conjunction with my outdoor cameras, so when away from home, I am able to see if all is well.

This security camera is clear and works great. The pictures are very good and detailed. We are very happy with this product. We have purchased two so far and plan to get more for the outside areas.

Excellent Pic day and night, Very E-Z installation and customization, a lot of features and looks good. Only one issue, I cannot connect from my iPhone to the camera if the Canary system is down although my home WiFi is up and running. Canary should provide this feature

I used the canaries in my business and I love them. They have a great picture and the sound it very good. They helped out during a break in. I own four carnies.

The system is wonderful, For a company just starting out, I'm impressed. The app for it work fine. you do need good high speed internet (Wifi) for it. Don't be cheap and get low speed, you'll be disappointed if you do. The Customer service is wonderful as well. if you just need one camera, I wouldn't purchase the Canary Membership unless you like to storage the videos but you can download it on your phone and upload it to your personal drive. I would not buy the membership unless you like out the country all the time and don't have phone service.
