This is a nice system, motion activated. the only problem to me is that you have to buy the monthly plan for 99.00 a month in order to see your videos. It would rather buy the product and then use my wifi to record.It would be nice if it ran on battery.

I have been reading about the Canary Security system for awhile. I was reading the Best Buy Ad and decided I would drive down and look at the all in one wireless security system. I looked at it and asked questions about the system to the sales person at best buy. I then purchased the unit and brought it home. I am old school and I am not too technical savy. I was able to set it up and Pair it with my phone my wifes phone and my nephews all well under an hour. we have had it now for around three weeks. I could not be more pleased the unit satisfied our security needs and suited our budget.

Have purchased 4 of these over the past few months. Style and design is nice. Hardware is impressive, except temp gauge on all units are 2-6 degrees off. Software can be quirky, and there is no iPad app or website access to monitor or change settings.

Purchased the Canary about 2 years ago for my girl friends home - it prevented 1 burglery! Sounded the alarm and it scared the person and left. Thought it was time to secure my own apartment. I purchased one base unit and it covers 95% of the entry points to my home. Love the air quality feature as well.

I love my Canary home security system! The camera is top-notch even in low light situations, and I am looking forward to what Canary does in the future. I highly recommend it!

This camera has a wide viewing angle, excellent video quality, including night vision. The app is easy to use and I really like the notification of activity feature.

Easy set up and great picture quality. I love being able to view when I'm away. Have had no problems with it, it's worked exactly as it says. I'm very happy with it.

The Canary View has a lot of features available, the downside is that you can’t use most of them unless you buy the canary membership, plus the camera does go off at random times, my nest cam does not do this.

It is very easy to setup, video is clear, notifications work like a charm. If you need something to watch your home while you are away, get this one. Very reliable..

I wanted the Canary to work as advertised to fill a security gap at my home. It needed to be simple to set up and use with my 5s I phone. Only catch was after downloading the ap and pairing the Canary to the phone, it just would not complete the setup. I then used the provided cable to make the link and it worked on the first try. It's been great since and with a recent upgrade, is even better! Highly recommend it as an alternative to a higher price and more complicated security system.

When I first bought this product it was lacking a few things… Over the past couple weeks I have added two way voice communication which is been awesome! The one thing I do not like about this product is the monthly fee. I also have blink cameras and there is no monthly fee for them.

I have tried other DYI home security systems but this is the first one that really work the way I wanted it to.

Due to recent changes in Canary policy, a once viable device has turned this $200 camera into a brick if you don’t pay Canary a monthly rate. Original packaging promises an end to monthly security rates. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

I already own one. I liked it so much I purchased another one for the kitchen area of my house. Works great, can keep up with the dog too!

The Canary is super simple to setup and operate with your smartphone. It checks air quality, can give a extra large viewing area and is all it claims to be.

Awesome device. Have it sitting on the entertainment center. Me and my wife can check know in on our pets. Thinking about getting another one in the future.

This is my 3rd Canary. No problems with any of them, would highly recommend to anyone looking for an extra warm and fuzzy about their home when gone.

Easy to set up and use. We can view live anytime. It's been fun to watch our dogs go out the doggie door during the day also. It sends alerts each time.

Bought for my living room for a little extra security and it's awesome sits nicely on a shelf and out of plan site not huge and bulky with a clean cut look

Great camera and functionality, -00 leaves a bit to be desired. I really like the temp/air/humidity monitoring, comes in hand with other wifi based systems. The "learning" by the system seems to take longer than I'd like but the ability to change notifications balances this out.
