Great camera, easy to install, easy to watch from phone. Only concern, if more than one connected, all do the same action.

I realized I needed some front door surveillance as I was getting ready to leave town. I needed a system that could watch the front door and notify me of any activity via camera or microphone. I rushed to Best Buy, seriously considered 3 products, and selected Canary. I was able to set up Canary in about 10 minutes. It is an attractive unit about the size of a desktop PC speaker. I had a little trouble using the headphone jack for activation, but when I switched to Bluetooth, it set up in seconds. It has a very loud alarm you can activate remotely. You can look at the live feed or recordings. This was perfect and I love this product

This is a great product; camera, air quality, humidity, temperature, night vision, motion sensor and alarm all in one! They are still working on the product which has a few glitches such as sending alerts when it self arms or switches from day vision to night vision. Those alerts are stored in the cloud, cloud storage is free for now but may be subscription based in the future.

Good HD and night vision capture. 5 stars if it had a 2 way microphone.

We love the Canary! It is very easy to setup and then to monitor inside-of-home video (live streaming and alerts based on sound or motion). I have a Ring Doorbell to monitor the front door - I like the Ring but it does have some latency. I have added two Canaries for inside of home video monitoring (they are 1080p, plug into AC current and are more responsive than the Ring). Our Canaries go live when my wife and I leave our house (automatic based on our iPhones leaving home wifi network) and at nights during sleeping hours. I've found the Canary to be reliable and responsive - for example a couple times a moth flying through the Canary's field of vision has set off the device in the dead of night. My only dislike is the $100 per year cloud storage (to retain 7 days of video storage) fee. I pay Ring $30 per year which is reasonable but $100 is artificially inflated fee on Canary's part - but it's necessary so plan to pay extra for storage if you set one (or more) of these up. At least the $100 fee covers multiple devices (it's not $100 per device).

I purchased the Canary - Indoor Wireless High-Definition All-In-One Home Security System for use inside my living room and to keep an eye on the front door. This product records very good quality video and is easy to use. The app works very well on your smartphone so you're never out of the loop.

We wanted a home security system without having to re-wire the house. Placed the unit in our foyer which monitors anyone coming in the front door or going up the stairs the second floor. I like that it automatically arms itself when I leave and disarms when I return. I get activity notifications on my iPhone and can watch "live" video. Since I have four small pets that set the activity notification, I can train the system to know that it is "pet activity," So far we're happy and may add another unit at the other end of the house.

This is easy to set up and use. I love that it notifies me of activity. We get false alarms on occasion. However this is by far the best.

We bought our Canary in May, and we chose it over the rest because of the free features it provided. We knew going in some things were behind a pay wall. Well just last week they removed one of the main features we used Night mode. Night mode you can set the camera to turn on and off from a certain time frame. Now it's behind a $2.99 or more a month paywall. They also cut the recording sessions down to 10 seconds.... that is the killer. I basically have a 150 dollar paper weight. I would not recommend this product to anyone unless you are willing to pay the monthly charges. The camera is well built and takes great video, but cutting major free features is bad business. I no longer trust this company.

the only issue is if the wifi is down your basically screwed. we also had to return one bc the power usb in the back broke. other then that its great quality video and sound. the night vision wrks great for my baby room.

We bought the Canary prior to going away on vacation. While it was good to know it was there and to be able to view video online, the number of false positives was too high. And they claim it would learn, but it never did grasp the fact that the lights on timers turned on and off at the same times and tagging them as doing so did not help.

Works fairly well. Still some bugs they need to work out. Have to reboot it a few times a week.

The Canary is well built with a nice feature set, but quality is not as good as competing products. Camera quality is far worse than that of DropCam Pro. Canary is not as versatile as other products. Designed to sit on flat surface and is not mountable. Needs a cord to setup (included), but then what do you do with it? It'll get thrown in a drawer or lost. The extra sensors are nice. I returned it after 2 days.

Overall a reaally good product. Unobtrisive...compact....captures great video and sound.

Nice camera. Good picture quality. Recording is super sensitive. I've adjusted it down a little but need to lower sensitivity a bit more. Light coming in from crack in curtain will trigger it. Recordings have little glitches at times which is annoying. I use this to catch guitar ideas when I'm writing music so I don't need to hit record and interrupt my playing. The glitches make for imperfect audio which isn't great. But at least I get the idea recorded. I did have one instance that the recording didn't stay there after I was done. I just use the free service for now. Downloading the videos is cumbersome at times. Audio quality is ok as long as it's not too loud. I'd rate it about 3.5 stars.

Had initial problem getting a second camera to sync with our phone but tech support helped us out. Can see areas even at night. Receive alerts of movement a few minutes after but it's recorded and you're able to see clearly. Pretty happy with it so far.

Easy to set up, great mobile app, fair prices on video storage plans. And it WORKS.

As in the title of this review suggests, this was super easy to set up and I love the App that allows you to view from a remote location. We wanted to set something up for security of our family member who is disabled and who has a health care worker come twice a week to help out. We wanted to make sure that the worker wasn't abusing or stealing as well as have security incase something happens to the home. As long as you have a strong WiFi signal near the unit, the video quality and audio clarity is awesome!
