Overall Canon Ink Is Great But Could Last Longer. I wish The cost was Lower.

The inks are great and the prints are good if you use canon brand photo paper.

Canon inks have always provided good quality but at a high cost.

Um I guess I kinda need this for my printer to print. So there's that.

The cartridge is easy to install, and I like the red light which indicates the cartridge is installed correctly. I'd like it better if there were also a light to indicate the cartridge ink volume is getting low. The ink usage is excessive for the amount of printing required, and the cost is a little high.

Canon ink cartridges tend to be physically smaller and cheaper than a lot of their counterparts since they have the print heads in a separate module. I do appreciate that there's an XL version to give you the extra capacity as well. I'd definitely recommend this over refilled or off-brand cartridges - it's very easy to mess those up and destroy your printer.
