Although I have often wondered why Canon sells a gray ink cartridge, I have never had a problem with the product.

You always need ink to print documents creations Etc. as essential as beat buy got you covered

The printer will work without this cartridge, I'm not sure why this grey ink cartridge is packaged separately. This ink is always discounted. I guess its fine.

How can an individual write a minimum of fifty letters over a product as simple as an ink cartridge? Well I guess one can.

did not notice any difference in photo quality with gray ink being used or not being used the cannon printer gives you the option to use the grey ink

Appears to work fine. Would prefer this be included in combo pack with all the other colors that are needed.

Although my Canon printer works very well, the ink storage tanks are quite small and so they do not last very long. Also very expensive.

Works for the intended purpose. Although ink is not cheap, the printer is, so it balances out.

Does as advertised... seems to run out faster than the rest... wondering why gray doesn't come in the pack with all the rest of the ink??? Must be bought separately

It's been a while since my printer needed this ink cartridge. I quickly went to Best Buy after work -purchased it in 10 min. along with some other items.

I would recommend this product. The only downfall is the ink seems to run out very fast, not sure if this is a problem with my printer or the actual ink cartridge.

Just as expected... only wish it was a little less $.

The cartridges work really well. I just wish that there were larger size cartridges in other colors besides black.

Well packaged, easy to install but reference to installation caveats recommended to avoid various pitfalls.

This non-XL version is less expensive, but it runs out of ink quickly. The XL versions are more economical in the long run.

I have used Canon printer products for over 20 years and cannot remember ever having a problem with one of them!
