This lens is amazing....the only issue is how heavy it is. But I'll deal with that for the kind of pictures I take with this lens.

I can't believe it when I finally had this lens. It was pricey but when I saw the pics I've taken from this lens, it was way, way clearer than the regular lenses. It's so true about what they say about the L lenses. It's worth the investment. Canon is the best!!!

This is a high quality lens; the compression is beautiful. I had been using the 24mm-105mm f/4 Canon L series lens for years and I am excited to have this lens now. It is perfect for serious professional photographers who shoot on Canon.

We've rented this lens previously and found it remarkable for use in general photography, but especially at dog shows under a variety of lighting conditions. Owning it expands our uses and allows fuller expression of my wife's considerable photographical talents.

This lens does a fantastic job taking pictures in indoor rinks. The lighting is typically pretty poor and the motion is extremely fast. It does a beautiful job capturing images without blur and very little photo adjusting after uploaded .

The quality of the Glass and the optics, the reach of this long lens and the Bokeh it produces make it well worth the money. Buying it at Best Buy was a breeze and their protection policy on this was more than generous! Get one now!

The 70-200 is a great portrait lens. This will now share heavy rotation with my 85mm prime. I brought it out on a corporate portrait shoot for a small company and put it to good use. Everything you have read and heard about this lens rings true so far in my experience with it. I've also taken it out to shoot a large sunflower field and it offered a perfect focal range to capture being there. I would recommend this lens to any pro or serious amateur especially if they work in portraiture.

I cannot believe what a difference it makes. I am not a professional photography. Just a grandmother who wants good pictures of her grandchildren. Every picture looks professional. Wish I had bought it years ago.

Not only has Canon come through with another outstanding product, Best Buy went above and beyond during the sale. This lens is absolutely amazing! Don't cheap.out and go for a cheaper brand, you'll regret it.

I have owned this for a few years now. Best lens ever. Well, at least one of the top 3 i'm sure. Worth every penny. The new version 3 is coming out soon so this one may come down in price a little.

The Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II is a fantastic lens to have in your collection. Great for outdoor or portrait work. Images are colorful, clear, and super sharp. I couldn't be happier with this lens!
