Great canon lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really good lens for my camera, photos are beautiful. And it saves battery of the camera. I can take more photos with this one than my other lens.

Dreamy!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a lens I had wanted for years but never bought because it's pretty pricey. I'm so glad I didn't wait any longer, it's worth every penny! Best Buy did NOT give me the extra points that it promised which is why I bought from this site rather than my usual photo store.

Fantastic lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantasy lens for day and night shots! One of my kids plays soccer and the other one runs cross country and this lens allows me to get every shot and every facial expression at day games/meets or evening under the stadium lights. I'm not a professional photographer, it's a hobby for me but the pictures make me look like a professional. I highly recommend this lens.

Awesome Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this lens because of its focus speed. I'm a wedding photographer and need the auto focus to be fast and accurate for moving targets...like when the father and the bride are walking down the aisle together. It has exceeded my expectations!

My wish come true
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been checking out lenses and reading reviews for quite a while. I rented this lense prior to purchasing to make sure it's what I wanted. This is an awesome lense for anything but I use it mostly for taking pictures of my grandchildren playing sports, baseball, soccer and basketball. It's a great lense and glad I purchased it.

good lens because..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good lens because there's nothing else out there that can do what this lens does. That doesn't make it a great one but for the lack of other players. Hope somebody else comes out with something that can atleast match for a reasonable price

Adds another Dimension to your Photography
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Canon - EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens will make your digital images “Pop.” Whether you have been working in photography for 30 years or 30 minutes, you will enjoy 3D looking images. This lens makes the camera. This lens puts the “Fun” back in Photography. A very versatile lens that is quick to focus, easy to use and gives great results in any light. Bokeh BOH-kay: Forgotten lens attribute. The rendering of out-of-focus points by a camera lens is called "bokeh" and it is commonly ignored by lens users and lens designers. Again, Canon’s EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens will add a new dimension to your digital images.

Beautiful Telephoto Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive been dying to have the Canon 70-200 2.8 in my bag for the last couple years, so when it went on sale I jumped. This lens has been a workhorse for me and takes amazing quality images when wide open at 2.8. Honestly the beautiful depth of field you get at 2.8 is worth it every single time!

Must have lens for professionals!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is not much to say about this lens except for that it is a must have. Prior to this lens I had the 70-200 f4l IS. It was a great lens but this one produces much sharper images and overall better bokeh. The only downside for some people would be the size and weight. I personally do not have any trouble with it but it is a monster of a lens. Part of the reason for its weight and size is due to its build quality. It is very high end. The switches, adjustment rings, and overall quality are built very well. This lens produces very high quality images and can be used for video if needed as well since it has image stabilization. Anyone who is into photo journalism, sports, and even portraits must have this lens. I highly recommend it. Two other small cons are that it does not really fit in many camera bags due to its size. It does come with a nice carrying case but the strap is cheap and it is not comfortable to carry it around. These two little things however should not make a difference on your purchasing decision.

Expensive lens, but worth every penny.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The EF 70-200 f2.8L IS II is one of my favorite lenses. I mostly use it outdoors on the trail or on the water. Although it is on the heavy side to hike with, the sharpness and low light capabilities make it work the effort. I would recommend this lens to anyone wanting to take their photography to the next level.

Great lens for even photography
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the lens for my daughter’s birthday. I am really pleased and satisfied with the performance. I have a APS-C camera and the lens performed well with it. Over all I am very satisfied with the optics and the build quality.

Super sharp lens for events
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the first series 70-200mm 2.8 and it was sharp but the second series is even sharper. Perfect for events and weddings. The first series has an 82mm front end and my other lens are 77mm. This second gen lens is the same 77mm so my polerizers work for the 24-105mm and 16-35mm. Best investment in L glass.
