I really like this all-in-one.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer/scanner itself is great. I would've gave it 5 stars if the driver had the same "Image Garden" that my previous Canon all-in-one had. Image garden made creating files and saving file location a breeze, this one is not nearly as easy or flexible, but I did eventually manage through trial and error. The printer creates perfect copy, the scanner's images are crystal clear. I had many jet printers over the past 20 years or so, but this is the 1st laser that I have had in my home, I'm already loving it much better than a jet printer. Well worth the extra money, not to mention no more ink cartridges that don't last very long and are over priced even if buying from a much reduced retailer like Cartridge World.

Simple and great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to use and compact. The only thing was the extra piece of plastic that came along with the printer. Took us a while to figure out that it was for the paper tray expansion if you use legal size paper. The manual should have that information but it didn't. Overall, a very simple and nice color laser all-in-one printer.

Favorite laser jet printer for the value
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my favorite laser jet printer for the value. It's very fast. I like the touch screen and the UI. It's very user friendly. The only thing that it's falling short on is that it has only one drawer. So if you're switching paper sizes frequently throughout the day it might get annoying.

Run.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it works it's great but thats about 50 percent of the time. It constantly changes up addresses so you need to reinstall it constantly. The direct connection feature is behind a system password. We have never set that password it's now changed. To reset it requires a call to cannon follows by a fax of your receipt. Then they will grant you the knowledge to reset the password. The printer does a few QR codes that are supposed to link you to apps and websites they all lead to error pages. Overall this was my first cannon product ever and they definitely have not won me as a customer. Highly suggest another brand of printer.

Mr.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A good addition to the home office. Makes clear two sided copies. A little noisy when printing. I've not tried to scan or make copies; I hope the instructions on the keypad are clear, as the written documentation on operations is limited. Purchased this particular model because it received good ratings from Consumer Reports and was available for online purchase from Best Buy. The ordering process was easy, and I received several e-mails about the status of my order and delivery. This is a big printer and will require two people to carry.

Happy with my purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very pleased with this product! The printer quality is excellent. One recommendation might as well include in the instructions to go to the Canon website to set up the scanner function, the instructional booklet and CD was useless. Scanner function is good. Which it weighted less. I am happy with the product.

Very Pleased
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After the first month, we are extremely pleased with the operation and quality of this printer. Still on the starter toners. Very easy operation, easy scanning to PC. We were using a HP inkjet for a few years. Happy with the upgrade.

Works but is loud
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer works well and is a good value for a multi-function color laser printer. Scans are good quality and the automatic document feeder works well. The reason for the 3 star rating is because it is excessively loud and it is very confusing to make any changes to settings, whether via the overly complex touch screen or the browser based UI. There are many features on this printer (that you pay for!) which I would venture to say 99.9% of purchasers will never use because they would have to be an expert in Canon printer interfaces to to understand what any of them mean.

WORKS EVERY TIME
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review comes after a month of steady use. What a difference from HP, I even forgot the first printer I ever bought was a Canon back on 1997! I don't know what to say, it simply works! The previous 2 HP I owned just wouldn't. Always connectivity issues (whether it was it wouldn't pick up wifi or it would say it sent to print but it just wouldn't to the ink (HP brand btw) to just NOT printing even though the cartridge was brand new. Possible I bought 2 brand new lemons back to back? Maybe, but this one... a breeze from installation. Funny it actually comes with a CD for installation, like back in the day. I followed the prompts and voilá. I installed in all 5 computers ( I am not computer savvy and if there is an easier way to have the same printer work for 5 different computers without installing in each one I don't know!) and it works like a charm in all 5 EVERY TIME(!), just like it should be. I will say that the interface for scanning on HP is a lot more friendly than this one. I struggled a bit to understand the patterns, but what is the point of being friendly if it won't fulfill its purpose?

Decent printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Over all it was fairly easy to set up. Color is good, Prints from IPAD with no issues. It is noisy and can be heard from another room when printing. The MF644cdw seems to be much quieter,

Great price for a color laser print
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer was on sale so I decided to pick one up. I was in the market for a color printer and the price of this laser printer caught my eye. The cons: this printer is very bulky and heavy. The pros: very user friendly, prints high quality pictures at an efficient rate. So far I have no issues with this printer because the printer is very reliable.

Canon -A Class of it's Own...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always love Canon and Xerox printers and copy machines. The same goes for this Canon product, but to be fair I must speak of its Drawbacks: (1) Automatic paper feed for double-sided copy & Print cut/leaves out either the top or bottom words/statements of the page (it's better to do it manually). (2) Inadequate information/direction on how to use the different features and monitor, therefore, it takes up too much time in locating the features and could be annoying doing so if you have a time limit. Advantages of This product: It's reliable, fast, and the print color is clear, clean, and crisp.

Canon Color laser printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I like this color laser jet printer. It it large, tall, and heavy, but I had the space for it. It actually connected wirelessly to my HP windows 10 computer that is about 8 years old. I have printed on plain copy paper and heavyweight gloss laser paper. I have had some streaking and the ink not printing fully on several photos, but not sure if it is the printer or the owner. I have not printed very much so I have not explored why some of my printing of photos does that. I bought this printer for personal home use. I have not tried to print wireless from my tablet, so do not know if that works or not.

Great Printer, not so sure on Support yet.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have given it a five star but I have not had any luck when trying to get some tech support at Canon. They put me on hold for over 45 mins and then it disconnected. But other then that the printer itself is working great and would give it a 5 star for the quality of print. Also the toner cartridges are less expensive then my previous HP unit and the printer has a 3 year warranty and the HP had only 1 year.

Great MFC
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are really pleased with this Multi-FUnction machine so far. It prints well, somewhat fast, and scans arent bad. Good for a home office or small business use. I was able to setup the software on 5 computers in my house without any issues. I have to say I am an IT professional so I am used to setting up these small Multi Function machines. A few tips - Try to either manually assign an internal IP address or reserve the IP Address on whatever you are using as your DHCP server. The MAC Address should be printed on the side of the box near where the serial number is. Look for that IP Address in your DHCP server and you should be able to reserve it from there. This will solve almost any connection issues you have on your network. I think this device is a bargain at the sale price.
