We love this laser printer. It was so easy to set up and prints easily from our samsung 20 notes. Best of all, unlike inkjet printers, the toner lasts so long and most if all, doesn't smudge or run when wet so great for printing pictures, invitations, flyers and all.

The initial setup was extremely hard, but once set up it is good to use, prints good copies. It is larger than what I normally use, but I still am pleased with overall quality

Printer works well. Printer tends to disconnect from computer if not in use for two days or more. Other then that Print quality is great! Works great with iPhone and iPad printing.

You know the old saying, "You get what you pay for?" well if you want perfect color copies, it is far cheaper and faster than the ink jets I had before. I decided to finally get rid of my Epson workforce printer, which worked OK for a few years but of course always problems with lines, cleaning print heads, etc. and the cost of the cartridges! Well I took the plunge and bought this. It works great! I use it at home, not at office, and don't print loads of things every month, but when I do it does the job well. I have had no wifi connection problems in sleep mode at all. I tried from phone, ipad and computer, all printed fine no problem. Worth the extra cost compared to an ink jet if you ask me. It may not be for everyone, but I have found laser printers superior over all to ink jets. If you just do black and white, definitely get a low cost black only laser. So fast and also cost efficient.

This printer worked - connecting to my WiFi right out of the box. Prints great - everything you’d expect. I don’t know what people are talking about- difficult to install? No clue. It was simple! Someone mentioned dropping connections? Mine hasn’t. It’s a great printer!

Purchased it at a fair price, toner is decently priced. Print quality is above where I expect from a laser printer. Rollers made some noises on a longer project- but that seems to have gone away. Makes printing shop manuals and long documents a lot easier than with an inkjet, that's for sure. Control panel is easy enough to navigate, and the software you install (make sure you install the scan software package as well) makes scanning super easy. It will literally scan the document and drop it right into your "My Documents" folder in another folder with the title as the scan date (in "MM-DD-YYYY" format). Makes it very easy to keep track of your scans. Overall, I would highly recommend this printer as it is a color laser printer with decent print speed, sufficient paper tray size, good toner economy, easy interface, and software that makes working with the printer an ease. I don't know if it states this on the page, but I was surprised to find out it actually DOES duplexing out of the box.

There are a lot of excellent reviews that I could echo (speed, qualiy, duplex printing, etc..) but there's not much point in that. Instead, let me say that my main motivation for buying a laser printer was that I hate inkjet printers. Like, I really hate them. I've had BW laser printers at home before, as well as color inkjet (ugh!) but this was my first color laser. After seven month of ownership I can honestly say it was worth every penny. I chose the MF642Cdw because the reviews were excellent and have not been disappointed. I highly recommend it.

The printer is quiet, quick, and was a breeze to set up. I was able to connect it to my WiFi network, allowing my family to print from multiple devices with no hassle. The print quality is exactly what you want and expect from a laser printer. All in all, I have no complaints.

I’m still learning how to use all the features, but I love it. I enjoy using it! The Color printing makes vibrant copies and connecting to your phone is pretty easy as well. Overall a really good buy and Best Buy had the best price.

So we have been going through HP inkjet printers waaaay too often. HP is NOT what it use to be 15 years ago. This last one rattled from the day we bought it. Got tired of the ink drying out on us every 6 months. Finally, I took a couple of friends’ advice and decided to “go to the other side”- a laser jet printer. The ink will NOT dry out on us. Snapped up a great Best Buy sale on this Canon, and we are loving it. Nice printing, color. Relatively q u i e t too ! The sales guy at Best Buy Potomac Mills area was uber-helpful and went thru options with me. We really like Best Buy. Great sale prices, sales advice and (though we don’t really use it) generous return policy. Once again, THANKS Best Buy.

This is a great printer. Good sharp color and solids. Easy to work! BUT.... I got some cheap toner sets from Amazon, and it ruined my Image Belt inside under the cartridges. So $100 for that, and its Great Again!!!

This is a great printer and it is easy to set up. Print quality is good but slightly slower compared to BW all-in-one printer that I have. Slightly more complicated to set up scan to email but there are many YouTube resources on how to do that. Overall I am very happy with this printer.

I bought it for 200 dollars. It does all the work and is very high quality, however tends to have connectivity issues sometimes.

Order this unit quickly as we needed to scan some things urgently as this was on special. All in all, not dissappointed with it. Quality is good. Works with Mac and Windows machines equally well and also there is a really good mobile app for Apple, not sure about android as i dont have one. I do get a couple of very tiny spots of magenta on my first page that i print sometimes but apart from that i cant fault it. I dont print loads so im still using the cartridges that it was supplied with.

We needed a new printer to replace a not that old HP that had a part go bad, which was almost as much to replace as a new printer. Went with Canon as we love all of their other products, and liked the idea of a laser printer so ink cartridges never dry out, making purchasing the high capacity toners a great deal. We have been pleased with this printer, it prints nice quality and seems to not munch through the ink too badly.

I have had any jet printer the last 2 years and was growing tired of streaks in my pages. I wanted to get a laser color printer and saw this one and went for it. The price was good and so far I'm really liking it. The quality is really good too

Very easy to setup and use. Print quality and speed are nice. Doesn't take long like some inkjets to warm up before printing. Scanning is quick and able to multiple sheets with the option of saving as single or separate files. We replaced two different office printers with these.
