A couple of weeks ago I got lucky and picked this up on sale for $170. Imagine a color laser (no more ink carts drying up) and WIFI too. Printing to both sides of the document is automatic, no manual hand feed required. Quick document prints in about 10 seconds. My iPhone talks to the printer as well. I haven't tried any sophisticated color printing yet but I'm confident that Canon will deliver.

Got this on sale. I love it. Have had it for months and still haven't had to replace the cartridge. Fast, quiet, feature loaded. One thing, if you use it far from your router, it will beep everytime if connects after losing connection. This was annoying.

This printer can do it all, the printer quality is really good, scanning documents is so easy that a 10 years old can do it, the setup is straightforward but it will require a little patience. Over all this printer is a horse power for home office.

The colors are vibrant and vivid when we print with this printer! They are also accurate. It's user friendly, easy to use. It was easy to add this printer to our computers using the included CD. Ihighly recommend this printer! It's a good value for the money.

Did a lot of research before getting my first laser printer and landed on this one. It was easy to set up and has worked flawlessly since the purchase. I don't do a ton of printing but was tired of ink heads drying up on ink jets. Color photos look great even on regular paper.

Best laser printer you can buy for the price. Has B2B printing. Which was something I needed. Gets too much space in my apartment. But overall best one. Good functions and support. Makes a lot of noise though.

My previous printer/copier was rather large because I used it for business; but now retired. When my other computer crashed and I got the one I'm using now it was not compatible. I loved my Canon and got a size smaller but with many of the same features. I was concerned about photos.. printing from the glass did not work well, but one sent from my camera to the computer worked much better.

This prints beautifully. Setting up email was difficult. The instructions are not clear. After 4 hours I called tech support and they helped me in 5 minutes. My only regret is that it says it is all in one but it does NOT fax. This was a big disappointment so I have to keep my other printer hooked up to use as a fax machine. It has a specific type of fax but both the sender and receiver has to have this specific type of fax. That is the only downfall I have at this point.

I've had this printer for a while now and it is still going strong. I wish it was not so noisy. I also wish it didn't require me to bypass the 8.5x11 error (though not sure if that's just my own user error) every single time I print (I need to go to the printer and press a button... not the end of the world, but annoying). Overall, it was heavily on sale and I'm glad I bought it, but I do think I'll break down and buy the HP equivalent whenever this one dies.

I received it when the salesperson said I would. I was notified of the tracking information in a timely manner. The setup was VERY easy...you don't have to have the USB printer cable to set it up if you have a wifi network. The only thing that I think would be beneficial is to have the driver on a USB drive instead of a CD. So many people don't have DVD/CD readers in a laptop. I haven't installed the mobile app yet so I am not sure how simple that is, but based on the other, I imagine that Canon made it simple also. The color printer is great! The quality of the images is great! It prints on both sides of the paper. It isn't super fast, but I didn't expect it to be based on the money I spent. It is perfect for my small home office needs.

Purchased this several months ago! Love it. Some reviews indicated difficulty with setup But we did not find that to be an issue at all. Works great and I prefer it to my Samsung I have at my office.

The print quality is fantastic. I purchased this on 8/21/2019 and just not had to replenish my toner (and that’s bc I just printed 150 pages at the end). So the toner that it came with lasted a year and that’s with this being my primary printer. The AirPrint connectivity I’ve had very minimal issues with printing. The reason I “hate the printer”. The connectivity for the scanner.. awful. I spend more time trying to figure out how to get the scanner to connect vs having been able to use the scanner. I’ve never, ever had this much issue with a canon multifunction printer and connecting the scanner. I dread when I need to scan bc I know I’ll spend a good 30 min+ trying to find ways to get it to communicate with my computer. Printing from computer to printer is better but has issues as well. I love having a laser jet and the quickness of printing and the quality laser jet produces is worth all the headache and the extra cost for toner/printer but the scanning feature makes me want to throw it out of my window.

It's fast and cheap, but no duplex scanning and the software can be finicky. Overall, no regrets on the purchase and would recommend if you get it on sale.

I have always bought HP printers but took a risk on this Canon printer. I must say I was highly surprised. Canon has came a long way to make it more simple to set up there printers. This one was moderately easy to set up. I set up my printer via WIFI but there terminology was different which made setting the WIFI up a little difficult. Overall the print quality isn’t as rich as other printers I have/had. (This may be due to the type of paper I use) Overall I give this printer a 4/5. Great product for a fair price!

Really decent printer for the price. Sometimes gets stuck on paper size. Can be noise for a laser printer

Much easier setup than I thought. Print quality is very good. 4 stars instead of 5 simply because the ink is so very expensive.

Kiss those ridiculous ink cartridges goodbye forever! Ink on laserjet doesn't dry up. This might very well be the last printer you ever need. Great quality. Easy to set up. When these go on sale you'd be crazy to pass on this if you are shopping for a new printer.

Let me prefix the review with the fact that the printer burnt out (i.e. almost caught fire) just after 1 year. Up to that point - the printer was my go to for everything - scanning was crisp and suited my every need. Printing - although not photo quality, color prints were cheap and were adequate. I recommend this unit as it has a higher capacity to scan and printer vs other printers. The only problem I had was that it died (brining plastic smoke) just after the 12 month ownership point.

Got it cause my kids are going to school at home and didn’t know if there was going to be a lot to print off. Our old printer was not printing any more so we got this one. It’s been great. Prints out fast and easy to set up
