Somewhat kinda hard to program at first to work with my HP laptop (running Windows 11), but the Macbook and Linux laptops, it worked fine. It's likely Windows 11 hit and miss issue, no fault of the printer. This laser printer can print both letters and envelopes, displays for action figures, on cardstock, the list goes on. Time will tell if it lasts, but so far, I enjoy it lots. Also, its best to put this thing on a stable smooth surface, otherwise it will get an 'error' message about the paper not being installed. Highly recommend.

set up was easy, works way better the the old ones i had. seems like i had to replace my printer every year for some kind of malfunction. print great and easy to use.

I absolutely love this printer. I had a Canon image color printer before this and since I used it sparingly it constantly clogged the ink heads to the point that I had to replace them. That is no longer a problem with this printer. I bought extra toner cartridges because I read that the one's that come with the printer don't last long however I've had the printer 9 months and use it for recipes and shipping labels and I am still using the original ink toners. Btw the color prints are a lot better then most people give credit for.

I am pleased and surprised by this printer. It prints fast and the graphics and charts are very nice on the printouts. This is replacing a $1k+ laser printer I've had for over 10 years and not only is it slightly smaller and a lot lighter, but it performs just as well. The setup is not easy and you will need to be tech-savvy in order to set it up. I am a career IT professional and still had a bit of an issue playing around with their 'RemoteUI' and configuring the different options. Otherwise, this printer is great.

I had a previous model similar to this one which died on my recently so I purchased this one. It's easy to set up and prints excellent color. The speed is good for a printer of this class.

Good printer. It prints really fast and the quality of the print is also crisp. Too color prints and they are also crisp. However, not worth spending $280 because 1) only 1 tray with limited paper capacity. 2) manual feeder which takes only one paper at a time. It would be great , if it can come with multipurpose tray. 3) The pre-installed cartridge come with limited capacity.

Easy to install, fast printing, beautiful color and black and white. Easy to print from phones and iPads. Holds lots of paper!! Excellent price!!

Prints nicely and the scanner is easy to use and does a nice job.

This is the best printer I have ever had. We bought 5 of printers for 3 homes and for the office. We never have any issue with any of them.

The print has great quality prints and is a good value for what you get as an all in 1 laser jet. The downside is that the digital screen on the printer is really difficult to navigate and since computers don’t come with discs anymore, setup is a pain. You have to actually go to the canon sight and download and install the drivers if you want all the functions. Even then you might not get it, the first time.

Prints in great quality and was very easy to setup! I just wish the toners weren't so expensive!

Excellent user friendly printer. Easy to install. Prints fast, works on wifi perfectly. Threw out pixma with cartridges that takes forever to print and ink dries out.

This printer is great for a home office. Not too noisy, and the printing process is faster than I had expected. It is saving my sanity during this work at home period!!

The only take away I have is that smudges sometimes print on the paper and the toner runs out fast only printed 125 color copies and needed more toner

My old printer was not staining connected to Wifi properly so I bought this printer. All of the features are great and this is very easy to use. Love this printer.

I really like the Canon imageCLASS MF642Cdw printer. It set up easily. We are able to print from both Apple and Windows products wirelessly. I like that it holds 250 sheets of paper. Everything works well except I can't figure out how to scan to my computer. I am able to scan to a USB drive so that is my workaround for now. Will need to contact support for scanning.

I have watched for a period of a few weeks before Christmas to purchase a good printer at a decent price due to shortage of products and prices going up. It turned out that BestBuy offered me what I was looking for. To get a Canon was my goal. This is the fourth one I purchased, necessary due to working more from home. You can place it where the space allows and the connection to Wifi was a breeze to have accessed from anywhere in the house. Very good quality printing. I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this because I was moving my business from my home office to a room in our old house. I needed print, copy, scan capabilities and I prefer laser over inkjet. That was a month ago, and so far this machine has performed flawlessly. The scan bed cannot accept legal size or larger, but the feeder will take legal size. I'm a professional auctioneer and I do a lot of paper items. This unit handles about 95% of my needs for scanning. For the rest I have to run back to my home office, but it's not a big deal considering the price and reliability of this unit.
