Good printer with HORRIBLE software

Specifically the scanner driver. I have been contemplating returning it since the day I bought it. If all you're going to do is print things and make copies, it should work fine, but if you need an easy to use scanner, this is not the machine for you. Also, the starter toner cartridges lasted about 2 weeks before I had to buy 4 new cartridges at like $50/each. I like this printer just enough to (probably) keep it but wouldn't recommend it. If it were plug-and-play / user friendly I'd give it 5 stars.

To use more quickly and fix things like the touch

Is there a way to fix the buttons up so it can be easier to use? And can it do from two sides to two sides and not be just one side to two sides?

Ok when it works

Installation instructions did not match what is shown on the printer screen. Cannon support has not responded.
