Get it and forget it, just works

This one has smaller and less expensive ink Carthage’s than the last one. That is good because the Carthage’s de-register after two years. This is great for my home office and my wife’s art projects.

Nice printer, hard to install in Win11

I guess there aren't proper drivers for it yet, but a non-tech would give up and get something different.

Good printer for home office

Had some trouble in connecting to the printer via WiFi, the printer didn't show up to my PC and Mac. Called Cannon support, very effective, directed me to configure using the printer's IP address and all works well.

I got tired of inkjet printers ink drying out because I don't use very often. But when I needed it, ink was all dried up and I couldn't print... I Have not had to buy toner yet, but so far all is working as it is supposed to.

Works with Linux

Works with my linux (Mint) based laptop. Driver seems to get updated. Occasionally the driver or printing on linux doesn't work, I simply get the lastest driver and just install it and I am back in business

The scan to email function is a great feature for any home office and the toner is cheaper than ink jet if one considers the cost per page.
