Needed a color printer for my small business. Looked at so many reviews I got dizzy. Bought Best Buy's maintenance program. The tech they sent out really struggled setting it up. Blamed everything on my computer. Wanted it wireless but he couldn't figure out how to make wireless work. It just wasn't what I paid a lot of money for.

Easy setup, I'm running 24lb paper and have had one paper jam. It was a bit hard to get the paper out but have not had problems since. After they were deplete, changing out the starter cartridges went smoothly.

Overall easy set up out of the box. The only "mystery" is the dust cover for the paper cartridge that comes with the machine--the documentation doesn't tell you what it is. Printer is a bit nosier than the inkjet it replaced, but not enough to make a difference. Print is quick and quality is excellent.

I WOULD HAVE KEPT IT IF IT WAS HALF ITS SIZE AND WOULD HAVE LOVED IT IF A QUARTER SMALLER THEN THAT. ALL IN ALL GREAT FOR A SMALL OFFICE BUT NOT A HOME OFFICE

I must admit, I wanted to like this all-in-one printer. It seemed to offer each __ for a home office. Sadly, this printer greatly underperforms. Be prepared for challenges the moment the box opens. Printer and scanner drivers must be downloaded (and re-downloaded) with any changes to your computer system. I want to emphasize *any changes*. If your computer updates, you will need to delete the printer/scanner, re-download the drivers, and re-install the printer/scanner. If you turn off or unplug either the printer/scanner or your computer, you will need to delete the printer/scanner, re-download the drivers, and re-install the printer scanner. Although not difficult, the process is a waste of time for what should be a seamless process. Further, there is no guarantee the toner cartridges will work properly. After the original toner cartridges emptied, I ordered new cartridges. Unfortunately, the blue cartridge would now print correctly. Anything printed had solid blue lines throughout the document. I had to remove and dispose of that cartridge and order/install another brand new cartridge - an expensive fix for what should have been another seamless fix. The wireless connections leave much to be desired - be prepared to spend quite some time troubleshooting. To be fair, when the printer works correctly, it works well. Unfortunately, these times are few and far between.

This is a great laser printer, but the scanning support for both Windows and MacOS is poor. I can't get scanning consistently working correctly and efficiently on either platform. Canon's printer/scanner support for MacOS has always lagged behind HP and it hasn't improved. The team writing the MacOS drivers/software need to step up their game.
