Great for home If you have kids and want a color laser printer, this is probably a good choice

I bought this printer back in March of 2020 to replace a quite old Minolta color laser printer that windows no longer supported. The positive to this printer is that it prints beautifully. It is fast and the wifi connect is seamless. The downside though, is it is now a $400 paperweight. It was printing some documents when all of a sudden it stated there was a paper jam. I followed the instructions and noticed there was no paper stuck anywhere in the printer. I tried multiple things. Even tried to feed it paper in the front tray to no avail. I tried calling Canon support which was useless. They want me to pay to ship it to them. And BestBuy was no better. There answer was simple, the purchase is over 30 days, no exchange. I do not recommend this printer. Yes it prints good, and has good features. But sadly it is not reliable, and the support is purely horrible.

We had been researching color laser printers that were compatible with Mac products. We purchased 2 other name brand printers and returned them both. We are extremely happy with the Canon. The copy quality is great and very user friendly.

The overall quality of the prints is good, but one thing that really lower the appreciation of this printer is the fact that when you run out of toner, the scanner won't work anymore until you replace the toner. I have the printer installed via wireless on 3 different laptops and they all get the same error. When the printer is out of toner you can't use the scanner!

I love this printer I've had many Canon printers in the past but I've never had a laser printer. I was thinking to go with something more expensive but I decided to start with a less expensive model with less expensive ink and this one is amazing.

Purchased this product because salesperson assured me it had all the options I needed and when I got home it did not. Was very sad that I had to return it.

This printer is great at printing and scanning, but the only blemish is that it doesn't scan both sides of the documents you put into the document feeder.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, but I never used the scanning function until today. But it stopped working after scanning three papers. Besides, this is a very poor printer and has connection issues constantly. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Nice printer for the price. Installing the print driver and getting that process up and running was a little clunky, but no complaints as to the printer itself.

I enjoy Canon products as they are well built. I do not recommend this model however. The envelope feature only allows one at a time and is quite slow. Retrieving the printed product is not easy as the paper lays flat and does not come out far enough to grab it. My envelope printing software will not function with this model. The envelope comes out with the return address only and then it is printed at the lower left. Useless

My printer is used for my home office. I still haven’t figured out to send a manual fax plus I haven’t used it much. Overall, I like this printer

So far this has been a great laser jet printer.... after owning my first Laserjet printer several years ago,, I will never go back to the money hungry onk drying inkjets... This is my second Laserjet, but only in color... Awesome product...

The printer is great, except I get a load paper error from time to time. I would give it five star except the scanning function is not very user friendly.

Bought this for home use. Finally a true printer and not a fake, garbage printer. This thing is build to last and I feel like it will outlive me ;) Setup is a bit complex because it is build for office use yet bright side of this is that it offers a lot of great features!

A little difficult to set up but works from computer and I phone without difficulty so far. A little expensive but to be expected for a laser printer I guess.

Love this printer! I don't print high quantities and was tired of ink drying out in my old inkjet printer. Still on the original toner a year later and going strong. Easy to connect to wifi. Love the touchscreen menu and ability to scan and email documents.

Nice laser printer but it does sometimes leave some smudges lines on glossy paper when printing.

Bought this due to the work from home situation. Love that it connects to my phone from the WiFi. We still have not had to change the ink.

Love it. Set up started okay but was unsure how to get it to directly scan to my computer. Called Cannon help line and soon it was set up

Very nice printer for the money. It does everything I have asked it to do. I had to call customer support to finish setting it up, but I am a senior citizen and am a little technically challenged. Price of the toner is also very reasonable. So far, I am very happy with it.
