I bought this printer on sale, it was $100 off so it is normally a $350 printer. I bought it because of the great reviews but honestly just had a horrible experience to the point that I had to return it. I looked at the details on Best Buy an because it has printing and scanning I bought it because I’ve been working from home and often need to print and scan. On the Best Buy specifications it stated that it prints on both sides without having to turn the page, so I assumed it also scanned double-sided. It does not. There is no option for double-sided scanning. I previously had a much cheaper HP printer that had double-sided scanning even though I did have to turn the page. I googled it after buying it and it does have it somewhere I believe on the Canon website that it does not have double-sided scanning but I believe that is something that should be in the Best Buy description as well. I was so excited to buy the printer and I was never able to get the wireless connection to work. I watched the Canon tutorials, there was no assistance with possible errors. I couldn’t get the driver to work. The only reason I was able to get the printer to work was because I have a Cricut and was able to use the wired connection (printer does not come with cable for wired connection). Honestly this printer had a lot of potential and I was ultimately disappointed every step of the way. It was my mistake for not going directly on the Canon website to get the full detail, but I feel like the specifications on the Best Buy page should have had more detail with regards to the scanning as it is promoted as an all-in-one printer.

I bought this so I could use it plugged into my computer because my wifi is awful, but I still can’t figure it out.

I really wanted to like this printer, but it kept going into an error state. When plugged in it would reach an error state and force a power cycle. Reviewed error and they wanted to send a technician out to replace the logic board. I hadn't owned this product more than a week. As a printer, it seemed to do what I was requesting of it, however, I find that I have better luck with other brands.

Have not used all the functions yet, but what I have used works well.

Great Printer, working with Apple bonjour to wirelessly print.

The output quality is good. It is heavy so don't plan to move it around.

I returned this printer after less than a month of use. At first, everything was fine. About 3 weeks in though, when printing, the printer started making loud screeching sounds. Exchanged and went with a Brother printer and so far so good!
