I know that ink for photos are not cheap but you can get your ink and paper for a good price

This is the only paper you can use with the canon photo copier. It does make beautiful photos

Purchased the photo printer and this set together excellent bargain and the color is superb.

Make sure you buy if you are buying the selphy printer. Based off cost it boils down to about 0.30-0.32 cents per print.
