Doesn't have a flatbed scanner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.On the bright side this printer can print on CDs/DVDs, which is what I was looking for, but I just assumed it would have a flatbed scanner. This is a massive printer to not have a flat bed scanner or a paper tray. Best Buy doesn't properly list it in the description, but according the Epson website, their Expression Photo XP-8500 Small-in-One All-in-One Printer does print on DVDs and has a flat bed scanner. I will return this printer and try the Epson.

Good, Bad, and Ugly

Guess I assumed that all Canon's could at least copy and scan. SUPRISE. NOPE. To be fair the printouts are just great. Cannot recommend based on my expectations. IF IT WAS JUST FOR PRINTING QUALITY, THEN YES.

Ink problem

Not worth it

Failed to meet expectations.

After installing, we were generally unimpressed with the print quality. It turned out to be no better than our 5 year old printer. Needless to say, we returned the product post haste.

Useless. Won't work after 42 days and can't return

It spits the paper out with nothing on it and doesn't even try to print. Not returnable because I've had it for over 30 day. Piece of crap. Other problems are that it doesn't give me any advance settings to choose portrait for landscape. Can't really use it at all now anyway...

Hard to adjust

DOA

Every thing was closed and I couldn't get rid of the error. I returned it and got my money back. Thanks Best Buy! I continue to purchase items at because because of their return policy.
