It was basically a run around in loops w links and apps. Later realized that there's a few videos on YouTube were others had the same problems linking devices and ended up in returning as well. It's unfortunate because this printer was highly recommended.

Canon uses lots of ink

It seems to print nice images, but for printing text documents I'd consider a different brand. It also eats through ink cartridges unbelievably fast.

Quality product, if it installs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed the driver via USB-connect successfully one one laptop without issues. On a separate Win-10 Pro machine the install programs would not configure the driver, through either direct-connect or USB-connect approaches. Each attempt results in repeating the long install process, involving recommended reboots, and provides no useful information on what the issue is. On USB installs the installer would detect the printer, but then mysteriously report "The printer is not detected. Check the connection." ..... This is my main point: the installation process was designed for the "happy path", where the stars are aligned and everything works. The installation process provides no usable information or clues, nor any recoverability when it doesn't work. I have installed many Canon printers (and competitors) over decades and never encountered such a challenge. No antivirus was active. Ran install as Admin user. Only recommended if you have a dedicated IT staff to work to resolve issues - not recommended for home use.
