Loved it for the first two weeks then things started going downhill quick. I print a lot for my art business and I thought this printer would be the perfect solution since it is made for high volume small businesses and uses bottles of ink instead of cartridges. Well I started having to call Canon technical support about 2 weeks in. Paper kept jamming, printer not printing crisp and having wavy looking printed letters, printer stopped feeding, etc. every time customer service was great once I finally got them on the phone (usually held for 15-30 minutes before a rep was available). One day I had to call twice for two different issues in the same day. Well finally at less than a month in the print heads clogged even though I print lots daily. Canon replaced the printer. Had to send in my receipt and they shipped a new one out. It was a fairly fast turn around (around 4 days from start to finish). Hooked new replacement up. I was good to go. Printed wonderfully. Didn’t jam. Paper fed. I thought I was good to go until today (two weeks after having the new replacement printer). Suddenly in the middle of a print job the cyan stops working. Went through the normal routine of clean cycle, nozzle check, deep clean cycle, nozzle check. Repeated this 4 times then finally did an ink flush which uses like half a tank of ink. I’m almost in tears at this point. I have orders to get out and my brand new replacement printer is now useless. I call Canon technical support again. The rep was wonderful once again and I told him all the steps I did. Basically once again they are going to replace it. Maybe the third printer will be the charm. I hope so at least.

This is the first tank ink printer I have owned. I have re-filled the tanks since my purchase, and use this a lot. I use this for school projects, printing information and scanning. I like the tanks better than the cartridges (although my last printer I used refillable cartridges) and it is easy to fill/refill the tanks. Quality is good with printing and scanning.

This printer does everything I need it to do. The ink tanks are massive and easy to see where the ink level is at. The paper tray holds an adequate amount of paper for the average user. Set up was extremely easy except the interface is a bit cumbersome to use a better screen would be nice. There were some reviews that stated the printer shuts down and needs to be turned on when you want to use it. To prevent this just READ THE MANUAL and adjust the shut off feature so the printer doesn’t shut itself off.

I was in the market to get a new printer, and I was looking for different ones. When I first heard of the mega tank printers, I was immediately looking into them. At first, I was on the fence when I first purchase. Wondering if the ink indeed lasted as much as they said, well, this was true the ink is excellent. It is a bit more expensive, but the ink is cheaper to purchase. I must have to print multiple things, and the ink has it is still more than 3/4 full. Now all I have to buy is more paper!

This printer is awesome. I have had it for about a month. It was very easy to set up (installing ink etc). Quick to connect to my laptop and my phone. I love that is will print on both sides of the paper without my needing to flip and put paper back in.

I've only had this printer for a short while but it produces beautiful prints, has a prodigious ink supply, was easy to setup and was reasonably priced.

Great print quality. The only downsides are the lack of paper feeder to scan/copy multiple pages and the screen interface is a little wonky to use.

Great quality prints, I like the dual paper path ability, with one for thicker papers and photo paper and the tray that holds a lot of plain paper. The text quality is great, colors are vibrant, and ink is inexpensive. Plus, the print heads are user replaceable so if they ever get clogged they're easy to change. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I estimated I would spend the cost of this printer after replacing my existing existing cartridges 4x- if I could find them since my printer is almost 10 yrs old. I could buy a new printer and refill it’s ink 3x. So this printer is a deal! Easy to set up. Easy to wirelessly print from my Iphone, MAC, and MacBook. I haven’t tried doing any special print actions from my phone. Laptop and desktop will take care of that. For anyone tired of the expensive proprietary ink options- should seriously look at a tank printer. I chose the cannon, because that’s what I have, and I like their pic quality

Love this printer, we haven't found any tasks that we require that it can not do. It's wireless printing is great and my phone, computer or any other printable device can print to it! If you're looking for a great deal with tons of ink then this is the printer you should get for your household or even small office I would think!

Very easy to install and operate......works exactly as described. Excellent quality images and text printer, and performs multiple functions. Recommend !!

The printer is easy to set up and use. I have used it to print photos and regular everyday documents. The printed items are clear and the color is very bright

So far so good, prints well, only one paper jam so far. The true test is going to be how well it holds up over time compared to the standard cartridge based versions. If it makes it the full term of the extended warranty I will be quite pleased.

So far so good. This is the first printer that I have owned that did not have color cartridges. The color prints are fantastic. Only reason I did not rate it a 5 start was waiting to see how easy it is to refill.

Bought this last year and i still have not had to buy ink. This is with me printing off lots of orders, packing slips, receipts for my home business. The little amount of ink used is AMAZING! Much better then HP cartridge printers that i was previously buying. The tanks are the way to go. Saved 100's so far. I think each time i got cartridges for my HP was 100-140 which was several times a year. This is 58.00 once a year. It prints great! I can use it to make stickers and business supplies.

I hated my old printer because although I rarely used it, I constantly had to replace the ink cartridges, which cost almost a much as the printer. With this printer the ink provided will probably last me two years, the copies are excellent in quality. I had help installing it. The only glitch is that at chair height I have to turn the control panel in a downward position, if I leave in there it won’t print until I turn it up. I think it’s well worth the money.

Decided to go with the Mega Tank printer instead of the cartridge type this time around. So far what I've printed is fine, but haven't tried a picture yet. My only issue is the old school control panel and definitely lack of a background light.

Easy wireless set up, great print quality. Just what I needed for my home office.
