So far performing well. Like the ink tanks vs. the cartridges. Last Canon with tanks lasted a little over 3 years. Hope this one does better. Ink absorbers are built-in obsolecence

I bought this printer in the midst of covid isolation for my kids. It's still going strong. I love that after sitting there for anything over a day or two I don't have to clean the heads to get out to print correctly again, like other printers.

This is one of the greatest things I've ever bought in my life. I am nowhere close to running out of the first set of ink. It is absolutely wild. Everyone should switch over to tank printers.

Excellent printer for the money. We are familiarwith Canon printers. Mike, the technician, was efficient and explained it's use patiently.

    Good for hobby photo printing

I use this printer exclusively for printing 8.5x11 photos. It can print them borderless. This is an excellent photo printer for the cost per print. I'm not a professional, just a hobbyist, so this printer suits my needs perfectly.

Usually we've found that Canon makes well thought out & quality products, well not this time. It took us three different lengthy attempts to get it hooked up to WiFi, the photographic print quality is poor, and it is too big (its desk top footprint is much bigger than the HP printer it replaced). And while on the Canon website trying to figure out hooking up the WiFi I read a plethora of reviews stating that although its supposed to last 4 years and the supplied ink 2 years, after only 1 year it stops working and you get a error message mandating a factory service that costs more than a new machine (granted that's hearsay but a lot of different people had the exact same thing to say so there must be some truth in it and hence its worth mentioning herein, especially if other will make a buying decision based upon only initial experiences with this machine and not long term ones, when this machine is marketed as a long term machine).

    DO NOT BUY

Glitches make this printer inconvenient and unusable. EVERY time I try and print there's an issue. Connection drops, no connection on same network, page doesn't print property/illegible due to ink issues, "no paper loaded" when tray is full from the designated print tray (front or rear). When I bought it I was excited for the large ink capacity, but all the issues completely negate this feature. DO NOT BUY.

work great for the first year then only would print in red contact Cannon and was told that I did not use it enough ink is dried in lines it would be cheaper to buy new printer than replace the lines, the print heads, and the ink on & off valve not happy with Cannon customer support and there answer I have printed over 1500 photos and another 1000 documents pages and I am told i did not use it enough?Iwont buy Cannon anymore

VERY disappointed with this printer. I had an HP for many years and this comes nowhere close to its level. Would've bought an HP but all bought out. The color on this is horrible. Then there is the back load fill for envelopes, etc, which is my fault for not noticing. Can't fit in desk if you need to use it in that manner. Scanning option is much more complicated than the ease of an HP. It makes so much noise before and after printing. Also takes forever to print. Wouldn't have minded if it was cheap, But this was double what the HP would've cost. Should've returned but threw away the box before experiencing its horrible ability.

Terrible. Do not buy. Will say that it needs more paper when it has paper about 90% of the time. Then it will give every excuse not to work after that. Reliability is awful. When it does work, u have to literally click the stop and start button a bunch load of times. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Quality of pictures compared to my old canon are poor, the ink tank deal is better but they still dry out if you dont use the colors, my printer stopped printing from the cassette all i get is a error code and to load paper and it only a year old.the software is sparse and horrible compared to my old printer !.....i kept my old printer i think i may go back to using it its way more reliable and works way better without fuss !

I have had this product for 1 month and 3 days. Now it will not connect wirelessly. It tells me to turn the printer on. It is turned on. I tried to contact Canon. I guess you have to pay for help. I can not talk to anyone. I will try to contact them about returning it because it does have a one year warranty. Very disappointed in this product. Do not buy!

    Worst Printer

Nothing but issues from the time I bought it. Its loud, very slow, would randomly diwconenct from the wifi, and the print quality has been terrible since I bought it. No amount of cleaning the nozzles or adjusting the settings would change this. On the ink level indicator, I didn’t even make it 1/4 of rhe way through the black ink before I threw the printer away. I’ve had better printers for a tenth of the price. Maybe i had a lemon based on the other reviews.

Printer Malfunction-You get a REFURBISHED printer!

Purchased the G6020 on 9/27/22 and the printer would not turn on 3/20/23. I don't think I've printed 50 sheets since purchase. Support will send a REFURBISHED printer. Basically they are sending me a used printer that has already been sent back to them for repairs. What?? My new printer is less than 6 months old and the warranty for this refurbished unit will not go beyond the original warranty. Seems to me Canon must have enough faulty printers in stock so they can put them back in to circulation. In their eyes, after the remaining warranty period, they're off the hook. Screen is also too small and not as intuitive as other printers. Overall, a thumbs down from me.

    Absolute piece of garbage

It eats paper. Constantly cleaning paper jams even with the best, most expensive "jam free" paper. Started out great with a jam once in awhile -approximately, 6 jams per 100 sheets and slowly got worse to the point where I can't get it to print anything because the paper jams EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I've thoroughly cleaned out the printer. Does not matter whether the paper is in the bottom tray or feeding thru the top. It jams. It's a wrinkled pile stuck inside the printer. Lot of good it does to have a business with a printer that is a pile of crap. I haven't even gone thru 2 full packages of paper. 3/4 of the ink is still in the tanks. Now I have to buy another printer and I guarantee it won't be Canon

I replaced my 3 year old g6020 with a new one when my old one stopped applying ink to paper (it thinks it's printing- goes through the motions). I have not been able to get the new one to work. My Lenovo recognizes it's there, but the 6020 will not boot up. It is forever "offline." I've reinstalled it twice now
