So far I am really impressed with the printer and the ink use. The only thing that would make this printer perfect in my eyes is if it had an ink maintenance box instead of an ink absorber box. That is an improvement the company could make, It was super easy to set up. And paired with both PC and Mac and Android phones. Every device in our home can use it.

Love how fast it prints documents and the quality of the pictures are amazing. I was scared of the setup since I read a review stating how difficult it is but there’s a QR code on the instruction to view videos on steps by steps on how to set up the printer. It wasn’t difficult at all

I've had this printer for almost a month at this point, and so far it's working great for me. It was easy to set up, including the wireless connection between it and my laptop. I mainly use it for my scrapbooking--printing out titles and journaling-- so it doesn't get used a lot and I can't comment on the longevity of the ink tanks. But so far, I'm very pleased with it.

Good, but, set-up needs work. While I appreciate the Canon APP, it still isn't intuitive enough. BTW - I am a Canon fan. I bought this unit due to issues with Airprint on a 992 series. Turned out it was a Xfinity router problem. However, it ought to be easier to configure the Canon printer. Why does a wifi printer come with standard shut down after 240 minutes? It should come configured for always on. If you want it to turn off, then you should have to select that option. Plus the turn on/off is not obvious. Nonetheless, after getting it working I am a happy camper. Canon, do yourself a favor and make diet-up much more intuitive.

This printer doubles as a home printer and my wife's work printer. My only gripe is that it will randomly go offline every once and a while.

Good printer, not using ink cartridges a plus. Over all print quality good, unless printing photos. Disappointed with the clarity and color of prints. If photo printing is important, look elsewhere.

I just got it set up-that process was easy. I have only used it a couple of times so far. I chose this model because of the ink tanks. So far, it is working great, faster than I expected, good color.

Our old Canon printer stopped working so I liked the idea of buying this new Canon with the mega ink tanks. They filled easily and I think it will pay for itself because the ink lasts so much longer. Also, I'm glad there is much less waste with the ink bottles than the cartridges. It also comes with two extra black ink bottles. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 it that, unlike our old Canon, it doesn't turn on automatically when you send it something to print. It makes you get up and turn it on, then it will print. I was very surprised by this.

I’ve had this for about a year and have printed so much without even making a dent in the ink it came with. I use it weekly for my school needs.

Wait to write comments on this printer to see how it works. I made the right choice in buying this printer. the first one I had a paper jam and no longer able to aline it's self. so they sent me another brand new printer. Runs beautiful and prints labels, and color transfer sheets.

This is my second Canon printer. The first Pixma I had for literally years with no problems. I'm finding this one to be a great workhorse. I took off one star because on ivory cardstock there was no print . I switched to white and it printed normally. I will look into that or call tech . I love the back feed for 110 weight paper for cardmaking. I also like not having to constantly buy small cartridges.

This printer has been amazing it's been over 3 years now that I have purchased one. It is controlled by an app and it is capable of printing across my network. Very easy setup and the software it comes with is great. There are a couple of issues but I can work around them. Printing in general is pretty slow, I was using the rear tray to print some 4 x 6 pictures and the feeder would double feed every time. I do not think it was meant for photo paper. The work around was to load each photo paper one at a time. It took nearly 30 min to print 10 photos.

This is a great tank printer, easy to fill the ink tanks, software is loaded on a cd, which made it easy to install. Very easy to set up and use, the print quality is great. I have not tried printing pictures, but I really like my new printer. Now I will not have to buy expensive ink cartridges.
