Bought it for everyday home use to replace an existing Canon printer/scanner that still worked well. I just reached a point where replacement ink cartridges were costing too much. It's not the fastest printer but I knew this before purchase. So far my only complaint is the lack of a back light and the size of the control display.

Easy set-up, good printing, and copies, auto duplex AND great ink capacity/usage. This printer is exactly what we were after.

Love the new printer. It is much faster than my older model. It’s great that it came with all the ink and extra.

This is the second Cannon printer I have purchased in the past two years. I would not go with Cannon again. The first printer stopped feeding paper through the paper feed. I invested in this printer thinking a more expensive investment would have longer shelf life but I was wrong. In less than a year I'm already having issues as for some odd reason it will no longer print in color--only in Black and White. Anytime I try to print in color I get a blank page or blank space where the color ink should have printed. Now I'm on hold with support--fun--after already tolerating the issue for at least the past three months. I would not but this product again.

Ink last forever. I use it a lot for pictures. I would defiantly suggest getting a lan to hook it up cause it forgets what it’s connected to when it restarts.

I selected this one after looking at several Canon printers. Easy to set up. It prints and scans as expected.

This Cannon printer is good for photo prints on color glossy paper and good for B/W photo prints also on matte paper.

It prints out very fast and at great quality. I can already tell in this short time the ink tanks are going to last us a long time!!

I was in the market for a printer without those expensive cartridges that doesn’t last long!! Bingo here we go! Great printing, easily refillable ink!

Can’t print two sided from paper tray if photo paper—have to use rear tray and turn over and feed back through. However, the ink last a lot longer than my Canon that took ink cartridges.

Although I've had it for a short period of time, I'm very happy with the way it performs. Efficient printing and copying and lots of possibilities for scanning and storing photos.

Yes, it’s a wallet hit up front but it will save you money in the long run on ink alone. Easy set up and well worth it.

Great printer has a little of everything from regular printing to being able to work on home projects.

Fantastic printer. Easy setup and so far the large ink tanks are lasting after at least 100 copies. My only reason for not offering 5-Stars is the same as others have commented that the LCD Screen does is not backlit. I knew this when buying, but in my opinion that is the only thing keeping this printer from being truly 5-Stars.

I needed a printer that could do photo quality for my crafts. This one is a bit slow, but worth the wait. Absolutely stunning prints. I really like the ink fill system too.

Great value. The best thing is the ink lasts! I was never able to get WIFI to work but there are other ways to connect so it's OK for now.

Two things I am disappointing with. 1 is that I never know when it will "Go to Sleep" and I have to turn it back on again. The other is that I have Not found how I can Copy a document and get it to my computer electronically yet
